i thought every forum have a thread like this..somewhere..
anyway, been playing this game for 6~7 days..currently in Baltimore..still stuck at manual aim but i insist on using it since FF...

If you have BVE crew and play a BB1 in blitz for more than about 10 games, you're a toolbag.
If you have BVE crew and can't break 30k in a blitz CA, you're a moron and should probably drive subs instead.
Breaking 30k in a 7" DDX with good crew is not hard, and much more fun than playing BVE alaska.
And somehow I doubt you're exactly in a position to whine about what I say to do in blitz.

Hey, let me ask you this: Have you sunk an H44 in a DDX? I doubt it. Have you gotten 70k attack in a DDX? I seriously doubt that too. But I have, so I don't think you should be judging how I play in Blitz. And how is playing a BVE DDX more fun than a BVE Alaska? Do you consider it fun shooting ships with a pellet gun?

I haven't sunk an H44 in a DDX, no. I was AAing in that DDX, or blitzing.
I have sunk a Lion 2 in an L class, food for thought. I've also sunk a POW (essentially) unaided in a Mogador, and I've won the south flank of a GB solo in a non-premium CA. But none of that matters.
You sinking an H44 with a DDX was a fluke where you hit him with 0 SD, and it wasn't in blitz, so I don't see how that's relevant.
If you did actually get 70k in a DDX (which I doubt considering TTF's attack records), it wasn't in blitz either.
I don't think your anecdotes about playing a DDX in GB have anything to do with this judging you think I'm doing.
Why is DDX in blitz more fun than BBs?
Because it takes actual skill to succeed instead of 'dur i press ffffff fffff fffff fffff fffff fffff ffff'.
Because you aren't the number one target of every CV on the other team.
Because sinking a BB in a DD is much more of an accomplishment than sinking a DD in a BB.
Because if I wanted to be passive and run from everything I'd be playing GB.
Because farming blitz in a BB/PCA makes you a toolbag.
Because lazors are fun.

PHH FTW. No, seriously. That's how I sunk the H44. And if you're still doubting me consider that I chased around a Sovietsky Soyuz in the same boat with the same PHH and got 50k attack off of it while reducing its DP to 7000. Playing a BVE BB crew in Blitz for more than ten games does not make you a tool bag. I supervetted my BB crew during the Christmas event and stayed in Blitz for over twenty games. My BB skills still suck. Toolbag, huh?

PHH against surface ships are overpowered. Sinking an H44 with PHH from a DD has even less to do with blitz than sinking an H44 with guns.
