also use smoke
a lot of deck helps a lot
and replace your torpedomen by repair
like this you will not be dependant on others

lol at the cv that said "Noob fighters make u loose money", i do remember making 90k cred in blitz as a fighter whore (or mostly local whore with another player looks like AB :D) num num num,

and cv have the right to set up what they want, i ran tb whore in blitz when my cv is still in blitz, i just take out the competition (enemy cv) even they got fp i do cripple them or sink them, bb/ca then cl the rest i leave it to my team...

Just out of interest if a cv is bombing you early in game taking out the main threat isn't that cv doing a great job? I would however argue that the opposition cv was my first target in the few games that I did play cv in blitz.

And you can easily make 100k credits in a blitz as a cv.

The most important thing is, BBs should put off their torp tubes first.

To the original point about CVs in blitz not doing their job

I think it needs to be understood that only CV1s are in blitz. That usually means a beginner just getting the hang of dropping bombs and managing fighters. It seems easy to those of us where those early CV1 days are long, long in the past.

The function of CVs in blitz are substantially different from GB2.

Besides, most of the time it's that dumb hobbit map ...(a.k.a. the baby pool ).

Don't blame CV's for your own incompetence. Especially in blitz where people are just starting out. Besides T1 FP can't hunt down bombers fast enough and Locals have no fuel capacity to provide a good cover. All CV can do is try and bomb enemy CV.

Try dodging, AAing, smoke(from event).
