  • How come I am so slow?

Hey subdrivers,

I have ijn SS4.

This is my crew setup:

Bo - 80 vets 0 experts 1 recruit
Torper - Fully bve and recruit
Planesman - fully bve and recruit
Sonar - fully  bve and recruit
engy x3 base 11 fully bve and recruit

speed: 25/35
OH time: 55-65 seconds.

I have 0.2 belt 4 bulge. If i remove this i dont go any faster. But if i remove 1 engy i go faster.
How can i go 39 KNTS OH?
I should go faster with 3 engys lvl 90-93 fully bve and base 11.
All my crew is +11 and sonar/planes +14's

How do i make myself faster? I see people going faster with the same engys.
they got 100-110 vets each. I try to put on more,i do 100 experts>vets and put on another 100 with expert pack (from event)
But speed doesnt really increase...

Help!

Burn all experts and rookies on the BO, and a good part on the torpers. Thats weight you are freeing for a better base speed, which gives better OH speed as well.

I suggest a rep on the gunner slot, always nice to be able to rep a bit. Its what I run in my KM ss3 ( my rep/engy are 120 tough)

The torpers are most likely capped so you can trim those.
With the way Sonar works, you could probably trim that a bit as well.
With your level of engineer, if you want to go faster - the weight of adding an extra one may actually slow
you down (But it will add OH time).
When I had engineers around that level on my kita, an extra engineer would slow my max/OH. Once
their levels were high OR when I added a lot more vets, adding the same extra engineer increased the max/OH.

So you asked people about their crew? Well people aren't always truthful or care to be accurate + you should
also ask about their displacement etc to see exactly what the difference is.

Until they removed crew death in missions and reduced/removed crits from low caliber shells you used to be able to go into mission rooms with fleetmates with just 1 sailor on the ship with 0 recruits and 0 experts and let them go at it. Was a good way to lose vets.

KIOSK
I use my kitakami engies for the my ss4, and it works for me as I have 200 vets on each, and I have burnt off experts to keep the weight down as they gained levels, the other way is to put in a seaman and sitting on two engies.

Fail post actually. Site decided to put my response in the quotes lol. My response ended up before the last part of the quote:
