He was more or less talking about the fact that the Maryland can hold four triple 16's and still go the same as the colorado which is classically known as the mini monty.
I've heard mixed reviews on this ship, but so far a lot of people that have the Maryland aren't playing the Missouri it seems.
The Maryland is a lovely ship. I can get mine to zip around at 40 knts even with gimped crew. Packes a punch when in range, and due to its smaller size compared to the Missouri, is much harder to hit.
And since it's a lower level ship, you get better EXP bonus when you hit BB4s, 5s, and 6s, which happens quite a lot in GB.
