Cuz we're cool like that brah.
Holiday doesn't have the same meaning for Canadians than it does for Americans. Its one of the most busy weekend for transportation, and they got from thursday to monday off. It has a family and religious depth we don't.

Well tbh I'd take the 5 days off rather than the lousy monday we get =P
