  • NF Winter Event Clarifications

Dear fans of Navy Field,

With the NF Winter Event just about to begin, we are receiving feedback concerning requests for clarification on a number of matters.We will be updating this post with some notes on the feedback received. Please check the following:

1. News Letter

Approximately, 60,000 news letters are currently still in the process of being sent because the receiving server is holding
our request. These will be gradually sent again soon. Please keep checking your inbox and spam folders for the news letter.

Players who use comcast.net and sezman.cz providers may not have received our news letter. We have noticed that they are denying access.

If you have manually chosen to not recieve a news letter from NavyField, this latest news letter may not arrive.

Lastly, if you have just recently changed your email, the news letter will not be re-sent to the new address.

2. BO Nation Reset

The support section is already overflowing with tickets regarding the BO nation reset. Please be patient since We will start to process these tickets after the event begins on 12-01-2011 at 00:00 PST.

There is no level limit on BO reset requests. However, please note that we are not able to offer compensation for any ships (including BB6 or CV6). It is up to the player to determine whether a nation change is beneficial.

3. Coin Event

Players will be able to redeem their received coins at anytime during the event period. You will not have to wait until the very end of the event.

4. Daily Coins

Players can earn 5 coins daily by staying in winning battle room matches. Please note that this is still a chance based event. The certainty of winning a coin is not 100%. We apologize for any confusion experienced over this.

I have a similar question along this line can we use the nation reset to keep the BO at its current nation just tree reset?


You BO will have a new country and a reset of tree. So if you changed your KM BO to US BO, it will turn into a Yankee and you have to pick your ship line to BB afterwards.



my question is concerning the NATION BONUS stats and growth ...
for exanple KM get sthe GUNNER bonus and uk gets the REP/RES bonus when first classed
and then the growth stat factors that in up the ship tree ...

so ... ? WHAT HAPPENS when you change nations .. do you keep your old numbers or get new ones ??




secondly ... does this affect the KILL STATISTICS and RANKINGS ...ie: does BO get 'wiped' when its reset ??

Concerning the BO Nation Reset:
What of the people who only have their yellows, or wish to switch their yellow BO to a new nation? If a player switches their yellow BO, i think they should at least get to switch all of their yellow sailors if they choose to. Otherwise, you'll end up with sailors that you can't sell, and can't use unless you raise another bo, which completely defeats the purpose of switching in the first place. The sting gets worse if you've already spent money on them, as many (including me) have. I don't think it would be too much of a hassle, as a matter of fact I think it would be great if TNF chose to do this. I think it would show that TNF appreciates and caters to their entire playerbase, not just the folks with enough money to drop a couple hundred mil or thousands of olives on an entire new crew. Anything above a DD would still require additional sailors, but it would be a lot easier to fill 6 spots than 10.

Regarding PCLs

It says you can exchange coins for "PCL".

Does this mean just the premium CLs like Bayern (for KM as example) or are the event CLs like Emden included?

Why would you spend COINS on Emden when you can simply buy it for 90000 CREDITS.
It is not worth it spending coins on ECL ;)

LOL, thank you, I just forgot. :-)
And my KM BO just did not have the lvl for Emden at that time.

In my opinion the christmas event has been a farse compared to the Halloween event. During that event there was more items dropped as long as you was on the winning team. Since the start of the christmas event the item drops have gotten farther and farther between. And I've also noticed that each time NF does maintaince on the server the item drop drops even more. I've heard many in my own fleet complaining about this two and three days even more with no item drops. What say you TNF?? the ball's in your court and right now your seriously outnumbered by the high amount of unhappy players. And the answer is not jabbing a smaller event to cover up something else either. Yes these smaller events are nice and all but it still doesn't turn the tide of unhappy players and make them happy.

it has been about a week in a half that i dont see a iten droping in my account, and the coins win rates also dont work right, some time i have to win 6 times to get 3 coins, pls fix that.
