I've lost 1 game in the past 3 days getting coins. I've not got coins in 3 games, and i've got 2 item drop packs.

The drop rate is fine.

I seem to get a coin for every win and a drop for every loss. Unfortunately, I don't lose very often.

Lets just say with HS gone I may actually return however I am current in another naval MMO atm so I dont know, saddly its korean also an suffers form very poor management much worse then SDE at one point they had payment issues paypal and told no one so now there is a major paypal refund cliam, @ least I know what SDE can do and well they are slow however that they do eventually listen to there customers so I will take some time to think it over I do now have a stable job and time so I feel like if I rejoin NF i will blow @ least $100 USD in one month..

I see some new faces on the forums as well as some old ones that I use to love to moderated.

For those who want item drops, here's a bit of advice: leave before the end of a game. Wait the 5 minutes, then leave. That'll increase your odds of an item drop by about 80%

i would like more coins... but i cant play that many games in a day, and the 16 or so wins i have had since start have yielded the 5 free coins for the first day. no coin or item drops...

overall.. i think the dates for xp boosts are totally wrong... i would have liked boosts on all weekends... but then again, im way overbooked in the holidays :P

My personal Opinion:

I like events because ppl are playing them. This means less waiting and more gmes i can play. As long as it is a fair Event and no “Bugs” occure its allways good.

My opinion about this years Christmas event:

Nation reset event. Cool thing, i can´t really use it myself, but thats my problem. Its something special. Ok, the olive trading system messed up the ingame trade..but thats another thing.

Coin Event: Nice as usual, no new EBBs (about what i feel a bit disapointet). I like the fakt that you collect up to 5 coins each day, so if im short of time i can collect just one or two. Far better then that “all or nothing” thing like last year. The “droprate” seems to be ok right now.
Only thing i dont like is the amount of coins you need for EBBs. If you max out the coins you get 180....so you can maximum get 2 EBB, no difference if theyre EBB1, EBB2 or EBB3...but you can get 3 PBB/BCVs. Especially EBB1 are just Funships in my eyes, they should be cheaper. And 3PBB/PCV? That means ppl buy less of them in the shop...ok, if SDE dosent need the money...their business.

Boost Event: Allways nice, but only the days of high “Familiy business”....so, basically for no lifers a great thing...

Random Itemdrop: Just a joke, that drop rate can´t be seriuos. I dont complain about fre stuff...but when they told us “An event never seen like this before” they should have wrote “An Event you will never see”. Ppl will do their 5 coins a day, but wont stay for item drops thy never get, means less activity, sadly.

Happy Holliday Event (No crew death): Ok, since they Ninjapatched the Crewdeath rate it will be nice to have at least a couple of days without that....but wait, see “Boost Event”...actuallly, not a real event.

Suprise Events: Nice they do this, but useless for me. I need to work and plan my day to get a couple of hours for playing....if i would know the times for a XP Boost i could plan to play there in some cases...but if it stys suprising...useless.

Comparison:

Every single player sees it different, in my eyes its a good event, but nothing special. Only thing wich is really new is that nation reset, wich is cool but not really that “Big Thing” that was promised. Especially after this years summer/fall events its “not much”. But thats the bad thing when ppl get used to events (like this summer)....they get used to them and need more and more to get satisfaction.

Suggestions:
Rework the Coin price for some ships, think about some minor XP boosts (Weekends, special times whatever) and maybe raise the itemdrop rate.

What i would love: Instead a Item drop a Xmass Calendar (at least in germany this has som tradition). Like it was back in Summer last year. You get your 5 Coins and a small price (every day something different, maybe some bigger things on special days....


But anyway...that stuff is for free, no complaints needed
