This is the part that I never understood, though. Why would you spend so much time giving away things and designing things to bring new people to the game while completely neglecting the proven spenders?
It took several years for new high level ships and even a new nation to be introduced. Now, they've done a decent job in the past year with content and events that high-level players can go after. But, still, we end up doing the same things over and over again.
Yes, bringing new players in to the game is great...but I'd think keeping those of us that are guaranteed to like and keep playing the game interested is just as important.
They did a piss poor job of that for years. And, the number of dead or long since inactive accounts is astounding.
It is just too easy to get to the "end of the game" and there's nothing left.
Throw on another 10 levels, add in a BB6 remodel and a BB7. Remove the deadly requirements of the BB6s that cripples longtime players and watch as people that have played the game for years continue to play and spend more money.
