It looked ok to me, and now we get to look around our harbor? BLASPHEMY! XD the planes looked neat with the health or fuel bars i really like that idea, plus they are loud enough to more than likely hear heading toward you. The gunfight was kinda meh, i would take the current nf over the new one if gun play remains that way.

Although the depth charging looks epic that was really neat, i like the whole sonar contact line, i also agree with a few others that the female voice is rather meh, perhaps have the girl do a better job and pay her more? Or just hire a new girl that does a better job, but besides these things i was pleased to see ships turning from the rear YAY.

I would still give it a try but as it is right now i surely hope we get to see some more modern ships because if thats the best we get im sure quite a few people may be sorely disappointed. Although i do enjoy dreadnoughts but i still want my big battleships to enjoy.

The wowfactor isn't so great and it seems like there will be even more problems with this one than the current NF. Lag for sure will be horrible and it looks like deja vu all over again. I waiting so long for this "preview" to be posted and I am not too impressed witth what I see.

ah amusing neither of you understood what i said lol. what i was meaning was more modern than a ww1 dreadnought and more like ww2 battleships, just because they have a screenshot of it does not mean it is up and running in this "NF3D"

otherwise it looks ok, looks about like command and conquer generals is quality *cartoony*, but it's NF can't expect it to be insanely amazing looking lol.

When a nation (Like Russia and Italy) for example. Had extremely small Surface Vessel Navy's. Especially in the Battleship department in regard to WW2 Era style/technological BBs. Its hard to add more. NF has always attempted to put boats in the game that were built or at least PLANNED, STARTED, and or SCRAPPED.

Hell, half of the KM BB line (O Project) line is all conceptual/planned boats that were only drawn on paper with only a few ever having been started before being scrapped/made into submarines.

Im guessing your refering to the SN/RM BB1/2 dreadnought style boats. so thats why i responded with what i did.

I see thank you for clarifying that, i agree italy and russia are 2 unique cases in the fact they really had a small navy that was vastly outdated, the italians however did modernize most of their ships somewhat while the russians mostly planed to build more but never got around to it since almost all of the conflicts they fought they could just travel over land for.

I mostly just want to enjoy the bismarck, perhaps the armor layout in "NF3D" will be a bit better than it is in our current nf version? i would enjoy being able to armor my bismarck correctly and watch british shells bounce off the sides or do low damage.

New game new hopes but who knows, yet i would enjoy that the early on ships are more WW1 styled and the higher level you get the more modern a ship you can get based on the current nf ships and or remodels. I see some promise to it but it will really come down to what they fixed and or did not fix in the game.

I know that most of the german line is paper ships, fun paper ships but still paper vessels that were never built, still some ships in each of the nations is a paper ship but it still fun to enjoy them.

Little tid bit of advice.

NF =/= RL

If you plan to use armor on any boat besides UK BB's (Most notablely the KGV, POW, Nelson, Lion 1, Lion 2) all other national armor is useless other then bulge.

Just thought id let you know.

lol? You think i do not already know this? I had said PERHAPS they may change it up not that they will. NF has never been good at being historically accurate ever, but a little hope for something different never hurts every now and again.

Besides they are merely questions that atm do not have a fully definitive answer with only a handful of screenshots and a small video clip. Although it's always best with nf to set your standards very low so this way your not disappointed with the outcome.

Ill wait to see if any more screenshots or videos surface of it before i fully say yes or no to actually wanting to play it, it looks alright but just because it looks fine does not mean it will be enjoyable.
