I'm from the nyc area with a nice view of the GWB from my balcany. there are always events happening here not to long ago ( within the last two mo.)  we had shuttle flyby, fleet week, and the thunderbirds flyby. My point is ther are events and points of intrest all over, if your planing a trip see what's happening in that perspons neck of the woods. im betting if we all post 1 event and poi we will all get to broaden our horizions.

Event ( nyc )  fleet week- milatary navys from around the world come and put on shows arround the area 1 show is the regatta up the hudson.

Point of intrest Intrepid A&S museum ( about 45th st  and westside hwy) there  is always something happening there. new shuttle exhibit.
