It never got to take off in the US, from the gossip because NF still makes cash and most veteran players did not take to the new gamestyle etc.
So it was not offered in US or the Far West.  I still read the forums about the game and it appears it is dead. So it will probably just be a wash out and close down.
 I enjoyed the new graphics and 3 ships before your out of a fight myself. 

As Ace said maybe NF2 wont be alive in NA server. I played Beta and enjoy several things like win matches ocupying islands mean a bouch al brainless only shoot each other and run, envoy to been able to face another ship 2 or 3 tiers higher without sunk at first shoot becouse a propper and functional armor, then change to DD and finish him.

I think that NF2 was good but conservative minds are a problem.
