I'd support this even though I'm American. I'd like to meet some JP based NF players, maybe learn some Japanese language tips, etc. Or talk about IJN stuff and anime (both of which fascinate me). :D

Yes, if Hitler can keep himself sane, and if Mussolini can stop starting fires in Hitler's backyard with his pathetic armed force, and Japan isn't dumb enough to waste precious resource on stupid things like the Yamato class or attack Pearl Harbor with the aim of sinking battleships, and the Axis as a whole isn't dumb enough to attack the United States before defeating all other major allied nations first, WW2 would have turned out differently.

And the probability for that to happen is 0 since Hitler is insane and Mussolini is dumb, and I don't know how many words or laughter I have toward the wartime Japan.

Thought Hitler was to insane to realize with all the crap he did and wasting rescources on jews even though they did nothing wrong at least japan was more realistic, They actually planned or thought about it before they did it. Hitler on the other hand lets invade our neighboring countries no biggie. But seriously it wasn't really the fact that japan built things like yamato class it was just the way they used it. Though they both spent time preparing, they should of spent more time. I mean they had good tatics just that they kind of destroyed themselves. First kill of there CVs and there puny ships then kill all there BBs.  By the way I think you need to kind of watch it with the way you talk about japan, your words are bit to aggressive.

Aggressive? Let's get serious here and get started with the IJN.

The Yamato class is one of the biggest bullshit in naval history. The Japanese were perfectly aware that aircraft carrier is the way to go, the same year that they laid down the Yamato, Shokaku, one of the best-designed Japanese carrier ever, was also laid down. But nooo, instead of refining and possibly building more Shokaku class or develope better carriers, they laid down FOUR more Yamato class without realizing what pathetic amount of resource they have, instead of doing constructive things.

Now you would say, "the Yamato is the best battleship ever built!", and I would give a big NO to it. Yes it has the thickest armour, but it's made with crap quality steel, that the Iowa can possibly rival with its thinner STS armour anyway. Yes you have the biggest gun with the longest range and the heaviest hitting power, but you have crap radars and can't do anything while even the renewed Standard Battleships can kick your ass with their radar-controlled guns. And on top of that your speed isn't very impressive either, failing to keep up with the carrier forces to be useful. And don't get me started on AA, the USN had advanced FCS and proximity shell, and their AA hit rate was still pathetically low, so I'll leave the imagination to you. Without speed, AA capability or actual range, and that your OMFGUBER armour isn't really that great, you'll be chased around by a North Carolina class if not being sunk like an idiot just like when it really did in Okinawa.

"But wait, we planned the Pearl Harbor attack so hard, the US has too great luck for having all their carriers away." If you really know what's going on, the US carriers had been marked as SECONDARY targets, the attack was mostly aimed at the battleships in Pearl, and that wasn't really made of success either. Pennsylvania "escaped" almost undamaged by simply sitting in the drydock, all but Oklahoma and Arizona were raised and repaired. It is also ill-planned that it actually dragged the US into the war before the Reich can complete dealing with either UK or USSR. Oh yay your small tactical victory triggered a strategic disaster, the US is finally serious, and the Reich finds their enemy on both fronts FLOODED with American sweet gears and worse, regularly bombed by American bombers in the west till the war ends. Oh, how nice of you Japan, as if the Reich wasn't in enough trouble facing the USSR in winter already.

"The Americans were god damn lucky in Midway, we could have won". And? Assume you invaded Midway with all three Yorktown class sinking and the Combined Fleet unscratched, then what? Invade Hawaii? Oh wait your logistics support doesn't have the range, you can just wait and see what happens. And all of a sudden you remember, "Oh ****! The United States hasn't been trying hard to build their Essex class!" Assume that no one lost a CV from then, you'll well be facing 8 Essex class, 1 Lexington class, Wasp and 9 Independence class, and some more CVE by mid 1944, and you'll face them with your own fleet of 6 fleet carriers and 2 light carriers. Oh sweet, just talk about numbers will do the job, overall pilot skill and technological gap doesn't even need to kick in to make the scenario obvious.

I didn't do any actual reserach. I've read all of those materials and had them in my brain BEFORE I made my first post in this thread. It is because you cannot get a thing from simple words that I had to dig them up and write a speech-length post that even monkeys can understand.

Isnt that quite an accomplishment for you. Guess what.......nobody cares if u knew something in your head doesn't everyone know something that comes from there had, i think i do. WW2 is in the past.....Allies won so what, i was simply saying the way you addressed your opinion about Japanese people is offensive to them. I'm pretty sure if i said......oh Americans are stupid, there dumb, what they did during_____ is stupid.
