  • Unwritten rules of NavyField

hey guys,

what are some of the unwritten rules of NavyField that you follow?
proper etiquette? who needs more AA cover or FP cover?

the most common one i see is that high level players will usually play in the south, while lower levels and BB4s and lower duke it out in the north.

what are some that you have seen?

there was a time when a BB4 was a ship of the line and was expected to go south...

if you like more range go south...plain and simple

Other rules:
* in any case BB is right, but CV&SS - don't.
* any bug happens due to SS. Even if there is no any in the room )

1: BB's should ALWAYS carry a scout;
2: keep space between ships when on the line;
3: TW's move out past the BB line before launching torps;
4: Have respect for the players, no need for flaming etc;
5: leave the top most and bottom most spots open for BB5+ ships when teams have been split;
6: SS avoiding each other is the same as AB'ing;
7: BIG ONE HERE---Dont run out of the game if you are going to lose!!!

Cheers

Hellester

smaller bb/ebb's 2,3's cover middle.  middle is very important.

AA gunners cover bb's but dont cross over them.  bb's are looking down field most time, not at their ship.  a scout or fighter isn't so important that we would like to give up

cv's pull fighters away, try not to have dog fights over bb's unless they are enemy bb's.

Oh and warn when you cross, but try not to cross.  (my macro usually don't work about this time)

- When playing same-tiered bb combat (ex. BB5) keep the enemy at range using sling shotting. - Never put 2 applications into 2 different fleets at once. Most fleets will auto-decline you. Same thing goes with that you can't be in another fleet before applying. - Subs first priority should be to defend their team from other subs (which never happens unfortunately. Be the one who does) - Try to disregard all flamers. It's not worth it in the end to sink to their level as it can get you a temp ban as well as them. - CVs should never run more than 2 types of planes at once (Example : RF, FB, RB, RA, FA are okay. RFAB, FAB; not okay) - Do not advertise premium items for sale, even if you got them from the event. You can sell elites, but you can't sell expert packs to people. - Fighters should never be put out there and left alone. Always keep them moving (rare occasion that I play cv, my hand hurts after for spam clicking so much xD) - Don't hop from fleet to fleet. Choose one that looks stable and skilled and stick with it. Of course if given a legit reason to leave, such as harassment, inactivity, etc, then don't hang around. - Never leave a fleet without informing them. That's just some, a lot of others will have more to input. Also sorry for the mess. I'm on my phone and it messes formatting up. Perhaps I'll fix it on my computer or a forum moderator can haha

1. dont try and write down unwritten rules.

2.Unwritten rules arent worth the paper they're not written on.
