i would pick the valiant... its a fine ebb at its tier and as for the dunkerque you can get it anytime as long you have olives to spend for it while the ebb you'll only get it during event or through medal store and the medal can only be acquired through event and waw ^_^...

hmmmm i have a pair of lvl 85 elite acc gunners (classed as rel -- common practice for RN), it maybe pricey though ^_^

I recommend to not connect the decision abot the BB-project on those gunners you have.

you mentioned those are acc-gunners, so I would advice to forget about this pair of gunners, since rld-gunners are definately to prefer. there are threads in forum which explain the reason why. pls stick to those explanations before executing something blindly.

basically RN is a very good nation for playing BB, especially for beginners.

the dunkerque-guns have an ugly spread and its only getting better if the gunners reach a very high level. for my personal taste even level 110 isnt quite satisfying.

I would prefer Resolution and Valiant to make my way up.

Good replies here regarding the EBB's and Gunner advice. One thing I would add is that playing BB without the proper supports and a scout can be unforgiving...slow with little repair ability sucks...

Valiant is an excellent choice, but  now think in economy.

You can get Valiant for 100 medals in store now, regular price is 200.
Also EBB5.5 wotrh  200 now, but normal price is 600.

If you have 100 medals get the valiant in store and use the coupon to get  the Duke. 

 Stop getting them EBBs. Because of the roll backs that follow all the rest of us will end up shipless and crewless...   :P
