What is the purpose of race map?

Why is race map unwelcomed / not allowed? --Some MODs ask to close room when race map is used for blitzkrieg.

(I personally think race map is funny, due to its unique island arrangements and the good-looking purple bar)

Why remove it in the incoming patch? Why not fix the problems if it has any?

sorry .. but .. NO .. . .. just make it be gone is a good thing ..

its totally not worth messing up other things 'trying' to fix it





but to answer your question : .. the race map has NO purpose ..
there is nothing  to 'fix' - the code to complete it was never there
it was never finished up - just like ground crew and accountants
