  • Ghosting SS movements

    09. 17. 2014 13:05

Battleships cannot mount sonar, only four ships can.  FF, DD's have passive sonar, CL and CV can mount Sonar.

Thus it is obivious when a BB, or , another ship that does not have sonar mounted, knows exactly when, where, a SS is located or launching torps...ghosting is being used by someone on YOUR team.

A few have been caught recently thanks to in game MODS who have sent polite, to the point messages in red text to the offender.

Ghosting is illegal.

Anyone subscribing to responding to the practice should be as guilty as the initiater.

If players have to resort to cheating practices to gain the upper hand they are losers with lack of skills to adequately apply ASW tactics.

Remember 80-90% of ss (and bb) players drive in straight lines, it isn't too hard to guess where they are if you see them dive. And ss can see ss too, so 5 ship class can.

A submarine isnt a ship but a boat.

Darth Vader: I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now *I* am the master.

Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi: Only a master of evil, Darth.

On a more serious note, when you've played for years, it guess quite easy to guess where your opponents going, especially when there is only about 1000 players you face, week in, week out. Its gotten so bad I can guess where people are in smoke now almost 80% of the time without them shooting once...

Player A always dodges away from you unless they think your blind, they then bum rush toward you.
Player B comes south @ a 45 til the middle then goes straight across.
Player C always turns around 5 seconds after poping smoke.
Player D always bites if you turn in and catches your salvo, then misses behind you.
Player E always backs up, even if you fire and they aren't even in your range.
Player F always crit-dives, even if you fire your main guns at them.
Player G always brings a slow escort.
Player H always goes north and turns around too late to stay on the map.
Player I never moves from spawn. Fly bombers to where he was. He'll move after being damaged and will always flee north @ max speed then after OHing will continue due north til he is hit a second time, player I then always head straight for the border behind them.
Player J always players an armored QV
Player K always never launches a scout even though they have one loaded, then complain to a CV when blind.
Player L always lights most of the map with their fighters, also manages to kill most bombers and has total domination of skies, normally win when on their team.
Player M has no clue how to use a CV, flies wave after wave into fighters and never leaves spawn.
Player N will smoke if you turn toward them.
Player O always torps too early.
Player P will TK you for no reason.
Player Q will get one shot most games.
Player R normally gets the first BB kill.
Player S crosses you and is not afraid to kill friend planes.
Player T thinks you can ram ships. lol, never mangages to across to "prove it"
Player U Always avoids other subs.
Player V never fighter his fleet mates.
Player W Runs
Player X will cross you half way dow the line every game.
Player Y has no idea how to play the game, and is in a T5 ship.
Player Z has a 13% win-rate and turns out it is legit.

Granted player Z may now have a 14% win rate for all I know, I haven't seen them in a while. I have described 26 actual players without using their account names to stay within the rules.

Day in, day out, there just isn't enough players anymore to make guessing where one player will go hard.

Submarine was in fact shortened from the proper term, "submarine boat", and is often further shortened to "sub" when the word is employed informally. Submarines should always be referred to as "boats" rather than as "ships", regardless of their size.

The Chief of the Boat (COB) is the highest in rank enlisted sailor on board a U.S Navy submarine boat.

All military vessels that are not solely a personal transport are boats by definition."

Yes, player Y still is in a T5 ship.

Also all non-transport only military vessels are, by definition, boats, not ships. The terms however in language have been used for centuries interchangably.

author - before typing the long texts - try to THINK

1. An BB player if he is really an BB - will NOT stop thinking about enemy subs. Shift F1+F2 is totally free to use.

2. If he saw you at least once (before you came at his position, where you dived or spotted by others) - don't expect that he will be DUMB like the ones you love to torp.

3rd is more strange to you. Even if he is not aware before you came, After seeing your 1st torpedos - the BB will start doing what he does by YEARS while he was eaten by SS. If enemy BB line is done (in all cases when SS sunk the BB they're thinking that it's their own skill but not your team's work, they would be surpised if only the enemy BB could turn righ to the SS instead of trying to run from it ) -So if BB are alone, their head are working only on the SS. He have 360 degrees to sail free without danger of being sunked by BB. Nobody but you can help you in this case. Maneuvering above unseen ships is a the same as shooting in smoke, you don't have to see just to know where the enemy can be. This is battle of skill and clever SS can full them - whiner SS, never)

It is called PRACTICE. You may think that for sunking you - they deffinetly must have cheats, otherwise you would rule the game.

(" TnF - STOP the PHH exploit, PHH is OVERPOWERED, they all are against me, hacking/cheating/ABing/ghosting are used everytime when i'm sunked)" )
against that kind of text's typing SS the standart maneuvers for BB in case when they are under attack from sneaky SS -  works 100%).

I don't have special videos for shooting the unseen ships (in this one i've used some HH before too) but in future if i'll play - will try to do only about the SS ...(those who aren't talking about  "cheating or ghosting" superstitions - may admit that i'm far from being Pro at this, and they are right: there are a lot of players much better than me. The whole server is cheating against the poor SS.)
