  • Problems with Windows 8.1

Hi community. My friend uses W8.1 and has trouble playing.
It was all good before sunday, then it started lagging, and it didn't stop since then. We've tried everything we could find on the internet and nothing helped. The same bug appears on his Laptop. He has downloaded the Windows 7 fix, enabled NF in his firewall settings, he runs it as admin, and all that stuff. It's not his connection since he can play any online-game lagless.
Is there anybody out there who can help us ?

it may or may not be related to the issue but with out running a search there who knows?

1.) NavyField isn't compatible with the default libraries provided with the full 8.1 install.


2.) The Windows 7 patch doesn't help. 



Install the 2005 C++ Runtime libraries. This will reduce some of the more common crashes.

I don't have windows 8 anymore since I downgrade everything to Windows 7, but there a couple options you need to disable if you want the game to run lag free. It was something similar to DEP, but not exactly DEP.

1
