We only have our selves to blame and we did this to ourselves...

 

We ( as in the player base were greedy)...although we were wrapping the rope around our own necks....we just didnt know!

 

All for a few days of measly XP boost...that we knew more than likely wasnt gonna work properly anyway.

 

IT all came down to the green light vote fore NF2 on Steam...

 

Had we not all voted to support NF2 on steam for an XP boost  ( Even thought each of us knew we were never gonna play the damned Game anyways)I can almost gauruntee we wouldnt be in this position....But Alas , we are humane and we always want more...

 

Side note, I cant remember the last time Ive seen bbr_insuw comment on forum post...its such a rarety... but just today he all over the place...oddly enough, only commenting on post that are negative to SDE. WHy is that? 

There are soooo many posts asking for answers but there isnt a mod or GM in site for miles...but the minute something negative is posted you are there like flies on dung to add your two cents and lock the thread?

{I dont know you BBR, never had any problems with you, and certainly not trying attack you....not my style, Just looking for some answers}

 

And lastly to SDE, I feel...I feel...I feel like you have just molested me...Done all sorts of nasty dirty things to me...and im powerless to stop it. Im powerless because deep deep down I know I dont have a voice. what I say falls on deaf ears...or maybe you do hear but you just sit back and laugh at me whilste enjoying you spoils. Im powerless because when I do speak out against you, MY voice is nuked. I pay the bills, I pay your bills, I pay your Families bills...why must I tread so lightly when speaking to you? Why must I be treated this way.

IT must be this stockholm symdrome I Heard about...You are holding me hostage and at times I honestly feel sorry for you....Yes I wish you would just die to save me from anymore heart ache...but after awhile ive learned to take the ache with the immense happyness I feel at times when playing this game...

 

{EDit} and another thing SDE, you have spent our money from NF on NF2...when that money is gone, do you realize whats going to happen when you have hundreds if not thousands of Credit card charge backs all within short period of time?

Ill tell you...you wont have the money to cover said charge backs...Paypal will drop you as there processer...the others im sure wont be far behind. they will be jumping ship like rats on a sinking ship ( no pun intended).

Im sure you ban many people for this...which yes you can do...but after a stunt like this...many if not all wont care about getting banned because they will probably have finally made up there mind to never play the game again anyways...

 

I would strongly suggest you come up with some sort of serious compensation to the masses to avert this.

My condolence to you.

Most of us did not think NF2 was going to go far after launch because we learned that SDE will be the manager of the new game. And we know SDE all too well.

With the release of NF2 beta, there is no question that NF2 will not go anywhere.

Bad managerment + bad game design = ? 


I don't feel cheated because I knew NF2 was not going to make it anyhow. Need evidence? Look of NF2 launch in Europe. NF2 EU was managed by another firm. It failed. Now put NF2 in SDE's hand....

I dont post in General all that much but I am around, and if I could answer a concern or address an issue I did, and not all were negative. Some were funny.

If someone esle was around and did it I would not have but I was there and had the time.

The first day of the event was the same way I was here and trying to calm folks and keep some order.

Actually its most likely due to my position in the command team for TNF, since I was the highest ranking online at the time its my duty to help and take the lead. So I did.

understood...you are moderating the forum, i just feel your presence should be known...keeping us in the dark and not hearing from anyone is not good...probably why there is such a big uproar now. If you see a post demanding answers then let them know you are in contact with SDE...hell even if your not...People need to hear from those that are running this.

 

question though, werent the event bugs fixed the first week? werent the bb6 guns fixed within hours of it being reported? SSo what are these bugs that SDE is referancing as the reason for the canceled event?

Sorry but I wont lie and say I am in contact when most can figure out I cant be due to the time difference. 

I am not really unknown but I dont spend alot of time posting in general, more in the tech and test server side.

I dont know what percipitated the event cancellation as I was not told or advised, I found out by logging into the forums here.  The bugs and exploits were attempted to be fixed but it wasnt till the second week that the Subs were fixed so it was clearly not a simple thing.
In addition from the support tickets it would seem that many still had bugged bingo and the puzzle was still giving multiple duplicates( not sure if that was a feature or bug ) 

So as best as I can tell you that is all I know.

Oh and you should also remember that I am a player too and I lose out with the event cancelled too.
