Noticed that there are some photography enthusiasts among us, so I decided to
create this thread where we can all share the shots we took, and admire the beauty
of things that surround us.

Feel free to post your favourite images of anything (within forum rules). It doesn't
have to be a masterpiece either - cellphone, compact camera or DSLR pics are fine.

If possible, do provide a brief description, so others may discover a thing or two
about a certain place, object, person, etc.

Hopefully we'll have enough contributors to keep it going.
Let the visual feast begin !

Bit of a comic picture, this is in my home town taken from my cell phone the HTC Droid
Eris 5.0 mp camera. The camera has a ISO reader in it also and the ISO in it runs from 100
to 800.

Anyways this describes my hometown.

Looks pretty nice though, I like the cloud transition.

Apologies for messing up everyone's screens. This was Vancouver yesterday - 5 pics
taken with my cell, stitched together afterwards using Microsoft ICE. Unfortunately,
it
prioritizes stitching based on majority of features rather than importance of
features -
thus, while the sky and clouds are joined quite smoothly, the railings are not.

Tachi, it's quite straightforward actually. Photoshop, or most other decent photo
softwares, will have a stitch function that automatically joins the images for you.

But the better ones like Photoshop will have the added advantage of correcting any
geometric distortion or fuzzy lines.

Only thing to look out for is when you're shooting, be sure to overlap each frame
with at least 20% of the next frame so there won't be any missing parts when it
comes to stitching them together.
