Noticed that there are some photography enthusiasts among us, so I decided to
create this thread where we can all share the shots we took, and admire the beauty
of things that surround us.

Feel free to post your favourite images of anything (within forum rules). It doesn't
have to be a masterpiece either - cellphone, compact camera or DSLR pics are fine.

If possible, do provide a brief description, so others may discover a thing or two
about a certain place, object, person, etc.

Hopefully we'll have enough contributors to keep it going.
Let the visual feast begin !

for panorama shots some of the newer cameras have a "stitch" function, you sweep the
panoramic shots taking multiple snaps, it "reads" the features in the background and lines
up the pictures then stitches them together.

Just saw this thread today. Emma, very interesting work on that first photo, the
panorama shot. Is there a special trick in using photoshop for that? Have not tried it
yet, but have a area I want to try it, a canyon with two waterfalls that I can not pull in
well with a wide angle lense.

RAW photo formats require software such as photoshop, lightroom, bridge, or some other
editing software. If i was you seiko i would shoot in jpegs for now RAW's are a pain the
arse to edit, i mostly shoot raws but occasionally i'll shoot in fine or standard format.
