  • Should I quit NF?

So, I was playing today and couldn't even even get a game with 50k attack, and I've been playing for 3 years. Shoul'd I jsut give up? Because I'll never get any better at this game at this rate, and it's really not fun. I mean, a BB4 cant even get more than 40k attack? I swear, everyone is better than me, and I'll never be even a decent player, much less a good one.

If you take the time to read through some BB guides, then you'll do good. I use to suck at playing CV, but I read through all of the CV guides and tried out all of the tips and tricks in games, and saw which ones worked for me and which ones didn't. You shouldn't quit because you aren't good at NF, just get better. It isn't as hard as you may think.

Check you'v e got a good crew set up, that can make a huge difference. Post what sailors your using their levels as and vets and experts. The nation you are playing. And concentrate on what you find fun don't worry about the bare numbers just enjoy the game. Remember there will always be players better than you and many many worse. 40k in an at level bb4 could be a lot worse.

When I was at that stage I always looked to have more attack than damage taken as that means I have at least helped the team. Once you have higher than level crews then you can look to hit 100k+ scores regularly. I assuming you are only at bb4 from your post so crew is going to be in the 70-90 region.

So keep going but look to get some help and check your crews and ask questions.

I think you must have a tactic on using bb4 coz i know bb5/6 will dominate you all the time. Just stay behind the bb5/6 and wait for the opportunity to attack its a patience game. Ive been in your situation before and your crew must be ok to get toe to toe with other bb's ( b/v/e) and what chicagobears said read the bb guide and it helps me a lot in playing bb. To tell you the truth iam not that good bb player but iam still learning from my mistakes and hope do better.

Quit if you have no will to learn.

If your crew is at BB3 level, at least, there's nothing wrong with it.

Also you're stats are telling me you're either no playing on the line, or you really do just suck.

Great comment, Obsessed.

That's the spirit to keep people in the game.

Makes you feel real good, doesn't it?

I admit, when I first saw the title, thought it was one of the usual rage quit whine thread, but yours is different, for that alone, you shouldn't quit.

NF is a very darwinian process, you need to eat or be eaten. You watch YT videos/read the national threads about the guides on how to play each BB tier, don't worry about your slow learning curve (well according to you).  Most start from below and slowly work their way up the ladder.

Don't be afraid to ask questions in game, in some instance you wont get any answer and in some you may get an differnet answer just to show you how smart they are and sometimes you'd get to hear/read the right answer from players who wants to help.

I used to fail a lot in this game, now I still fail but maybe only half the time, I used to watch the players who were kinda legends in AZ when I started playing, then I wonder how are they doing that, I tried watching YT videos and read the guides and eventually I started to sink a few ships before I get sunk my self.

+1 for the comment, even if it might sound a bit arrogant, but he is right. If you lack the will to learn, quit now.

If you read and comprehend what he is saying between the lines on his last sentence, you can learn a lot from  it.

Just do what I did, rename all your ships to IMANOOB.

The big question is "Do you enjoy this game?"

Yes- Keep playing

No - Stop playing and find a different game.

Sometimes - Play in moderation, find another online game and play that the rekindle your spark in Navyfield.
