The better driver?

im not ss pro too so a little detail i can give

in torps, IJN wins vs MN
in size and maneuverability i think mn win due to its size
in durability, IJN ss4 with 900 SD can do take a hit, IDK about MN ss4
in the end, it depend on the player whose using it XD

Player makes the difference. A good player can win with any ship.

In SS battles I would pick MN SS4 anytime. Assuming same skill and excellent crews Argonaute will outturn or finish enemy with rear torps. As simple as that.
I think MN SS4 is the best all around sub. Of course IJN will always be the best against big surface targets and KM SS4 vs small ships and other subs (proxy torps) but Argonuaute is something between more towards IJN SS but far closer to KM easiness than other nations.
Generally I would pick better sub driver than certain SS nation.

both are good at hitting the BB line as opposed to the KM ASW style. MN has a bit better maneuverability and splash damage. IJN will have troubles once any other sub gets in its periferals.

IJN SS4 :

its a deadly machine, without rear torps, slow in turning.But good Aimming at MN ss4, will make this guy have a hard time, because you have 8 torpedoes.


MNSS4:

Small, 6 front tubes, and 2 rear tubes, makes it very dangerous, for thoses who doesnt have very good accuracy. This little guy can be a pain for most subs, except km.I believe MN torpedoes HITS 1k harder than IJN, Pls correct me if im wrong in the last part, im not sure if im correct. Anyways, this guy can also have a decent or good turning against IJN SS4.


summary: DRIVER makes the difference, doesnt matter what sub you are using.
