Did any of you feel any tremors from quake that originated Near DC at where your located?
I myself felt it slightly at where I am about 2 hours north west of NYC.

I did feel it too. Currently outside of NYC at Hoboken/Jersey City.

I just had a big lunch and initially thought it was me feeling a little dizzy and tired after such a big lunch. So I didn't think anything of it at first. Then I went onto the internet and was like wow when I saw the news.

I am about 90 miles from the epicenter and I felt it just fine thank you very much. My office shook for a good 25 seconds. First I thought some workers were on the roof, then I thought a plane crashed (my office is close to BWI airport), then as it continued I realized it was an earth quake. First one for me and I am 35 years old. I hope this is the last one for a while. Buildings in this part of the US are not built to hold up to something like this. If another "mild" earthquake takes place a lot of buildings weakened by this one will go down.

I have lived in the DC area for all my life (35 years) and have never been caught in an earth quake. I know you left coast folk are seasoned vets for that crap, but I am sure even you, deadhero, showed pause when you lived through your first one?

I got one for you though, when was the last time the left coast was hit by a Hurricane? Been a while I'm sure. I bet if the left coast got hit by a cat 1, or higher, hurricane now their reaction would be very similar to use east coasters and our "little" earthquake.

Just some people excited about the earthquake. I kinda was too since when I found out it was some small tremors that shook my desk where the computer was. Kinda thought somebody was jumping. This was in Jersey.
