Site and game needs ignore feature

I will keep on saying this, to have it fall on deaf ears.
This game and website need an ignore feature. The fact that you can block a sender from sending you private
memos is a step up(after you get that F'ed memo).. but you need to work on getting an ignore feature going.
I have spent alot of money and time on this game to have the experience ruined. i would think that after over 6 years
of playing this game and countless hours and dollars.. Someone might just listen? probably not.
I refuse to spend any more money on this game until some privacy features are enabled.

with my money. Spoiled, you bet I am.
Every other game out there has an ignore feature. It can't be that difficult to implement in game or on the forums.

An in-game ignore feature would be nice. In the mean time, you still have steps to take to correct the situation.
If you are being griefed, get screenshots of you asking the person to stop the specific action (ie. whispering you), and take more screenshot(s) if/when they don't listen.
Open a support ticket and file it under "report offensive player".
If someone is ruining your experience, you will certainly see action taken.

just to point out the bratty "if i dont get what I want, I will rage quit" attitude will get you nowhere.
as for you not spending more money on NF or even quitting for that matter, cool story.
Grow up, deal with it, and send a ticket.

If the "do something or I'll sulk!" argument really was applied everytime someone used it vs SDE, they'd be bankrupted since a long time.
Take a deep breath, and learn to just not care about them? I mean some people annoy me, I just troll them and have fun about them.

Try Hitting F3
then type /block USERIDTOBLOCK
Win!
F3 blocks most of everything anyway. So manual blocking might not be needed.

I open tickets.. Opened one a little while ago, waiting on the reply. it just gets a little frustrating to constantly be hounded day in and day out with the same BS.

If you feel you are being harassed by another player, take screenshots of it immediately and report it to us at TNF and we will handle the situation to the best of our ability, but if no TNF member is on, put the screenshots in the ticket and explain whats going on. (It may take a little bit longer with the ticket though, so just be patient if you choose to report it that way). About the suggestion, I personally think it would cause some problems to have an ignore feature. People would try to ignore TNF members, some people would immediately ignore the player they borrowed stuff from to try to keep it. Not saying its a bad idea however, but im trying to think of the problems something like this would cause.

On most decent internet forums, you can make it so that the ignore function doesn't work on Admins/Mods. It is something I suggested on the old forums. Recommended.

You are a system ingeneer, so you would certainly be aware of the fact that ignoring a problem does not solve it. I mean like in a computer
In my opinion any /ignore tool si worst than useless, it's a menace to good ambiance, self control is way better.
As you said you are not a child so you would certainly agree that ignore someone because he acts badly is just like saying to kid to go to his room without an explanation of what he did wrong,
Better use the way everybody use in this game, you have the ticket option, which is someway like a police phone call (not 911, something more like a call to police station because there is a cat blocked in a tree) and ask for someregulation, the fact is you need evidences of what you are assuming, so we have a perfect tool, screenshots and warning to the other player.
And if you really are harrassed the person who was doing that takes more than just find another target and gets a real punition (2 days ban or like that) and if he goes on doing that his account can be blocked or deleted.
To learn to live with other is what we need, ignoring people wont help us.
BTW dont confuse Privacy with Serenity.
