Obviously the RU BB1 and UK Nelson should be coded as exceptions.

While its funny watching a player with no scout begging for sight, its sad and is leaching in my opinion.

I would also support BB's being required to run a scout.

If 8 players have scouts and there is none above the enemy, then the problem isn't that he doesn't have a scout

but i think you should wait till the fighters sigh nerf patch comes to live server
then we will see how important the scout will be

So name one situation where carrying a scout and scout pilot is worse than the alternative.

No one is forcing you to have a scout, if you dont want to carry one deal with the 50% exp penalty just like i have to deal with you leeching.

If you mean only in shared exp. rooms, then yes I rec.

 

Scouting in BB is crucial even if it get's killed once it get there every time bacause you keep enemy fighters busy killing your scout instead of scouting your team and killing the fp on your team. So yeah, scout on BB is important the same way having a BB with guns higher then 11" is in GB.

Giving light is is essential for being a good team player.

I see 3 possibilities:

1. give a penalty in exp for BB's without sending scouts (not just having)

2. a bonus for CL, CA and PS if they scout

3. the more/longer i keep enemies visible, the more exp i gain. This would be great!

 

All 3 would be nice :D

I prefer 3rd - for all ship classes and active for all plane types.

 

As i like to play BB and CV i am just wondering those people who are always begging for light to the CVs ...

Additional i must say that light is a bigger problem since max CV was changed from 8 to 6 ...
