If you quit/DC or leave for any reason, every sailor loses 10 experts.
This will not fly.

I didn't know that you cared about fun. On topic, I feel like some people who are lower in level will lose experts at a rate which will make not playing it worth it, and since people are sheep and gravitate towards game modes which are boosted then it's kind of a problem.
People who are lower in level rarely have alot of experts.
And so it hurts them all the more.

idk how it is for you in Nebby, but in kaiser its not low level people that play OP convoy. Ship types is capped. Sailor level is not. Level 120 PCA galore, is what you could rename NY/Kaiser OP convoy (last ive played in one it was still NY...or bismarck, can't remember) the lenght, total farming from high level CAs that are unbeatable for your average at level CL/CA (and if they DO manage to worn them out, they respawn right away!) and overall bad xp makes the mode not so fun. I believe a fetch the flag has a potential (thats the type of game it is. Fetch the crate just have less of a ring to it) but I think it would be even better if every team had a flag and the goal was to fetch the other, while protecting yours, and each round is ONE capture.

The result is the same, that if you dc you lose 10 experts. if DC prevent crew death, fancy explaining how DCing suddenly kills crew at the same time?

Because OP Convoy has certain conditions that say when you leave (which includes dcing) you lose 10 experts per sailor.

Actually, they gain them insanely quickly from 1-60; Mainly due to the high percentage of rookies. So 10 experts isn't going to hurt, and they are easily recoverable. For all players.

Because OP Convoy has certain conditions that say when you leave (which includes dcing) you lose 10 experts per sailor.
when you retreat, but I doubt it also count when you "crash".

It's not the main reason but it's still a very big contributing factor

Yes so if you DC to save crew every sailor will be missing 10 experts. Annoying if you play this mode alot which I did for a short period of time.
