Please answer the following general questions

1. What are your perceptions of an FM's duties?

4. You have thought of a way to do something more efficiently. However, it bypasses the company's saftey rules. What do you do? Do you break the rules in order to solve the problem with more efficiency or do you follow rules and lose out on the increased efficiency?  Regardless of the decision you make what else would you do after you have made the decision?

Woot free drinks!

Me myself, and I... Mile High Club!
"snicker"

Joke aside, the answer to that is prolly their way to assess your character, but whatever answer you give, in real life, sitting down and enjoying the free drink is prolly the smartest thing you can do and live, unless you are a pilot yourself.

How is this really a relevant question?

IMO if the FM can do his job without bias I don't care what fleet he's from. I could care less if for example every FM was from the Atomic Energy Fleet (newest fleet on NF.com) if they did a good job of it.

I really don't feel anyone should be accepted or rejected depending (even in the slightest) on what fleet they're from. I do feel that this question is actually more likely to create biases within the FMs.

It is a question for information, just like Game ID or Age.

The important is not where you come from, but what you do.

Actually it's a judge of if you see them being biased against another fleet once their fleet starts getting flamed so yes it is relevant.

I thought the same thing as these two. Really, if you think about it, what percentage of FM's do become TNF? Or, what percentage apply to become TNF? Probably a high amount. So, unless they don't want to use this as a stepping stone into TNF, I, personally find this question unneeded. If you actually played the game, or used the ranking its quite easily to find what fleet their from, and then you usually get a jist of who their enemies are, and on an act of being bias, you, a TNF can step in and set the people straight.

Just an opinion.

Would failure to answer the four hypothetical questions cast serious dought over an application?

A complete and honest application will always, in any application process, have more chances for success.

I believe there is a point where honesty and chances of success diverge... To all that can see the hidden posts, my answer for the airplane question would what I mean.

Usually job postings include a list of duties and and what the position entails. And, again, benefits. So?

Honestly I'm kinda lost about what they want you to prove with that one.
