alright so the kita's fun to play in but it can't hold too big of a crew. Im proposing allowing the kita to hold more crew or making a new remodel entirely at a higher lvl with higher damage torps and more space for crew.
Edit: Main idea is just to allow for more crew.

true a kita can change a game only if the other team responds the wrong way...
Even if all the kitna does is force a whole north or south flank to turn back or move, it changes the dynamic of a game.
So does a good DD with PHH and sonar that clears the map of subs or a exeptional AA ship who make the area around it nearly unscoutable. Lesser ships also have some effect on the way the mach ends. A kita spitting torps is just more obvious and painfull.
Perhaps in GB thats true, but in Blitz it can be a complete game changer. I've seen half a fleet go down in the opening torp salvo cuz a kita or kuma managed to close to close to dodge or managed to interlock spreads with another TW. Theres just no coming back from that. Even when all it does is force a flank to retreat, that can take a good chunk of a fleets firepower out of battle for a minute or two, and that can make all the difference in a fast paced Blitz environment.

But we're talking about High level remods. This alone takes blitz out of the equation. Besides blitz crews have no problems fitting on a kita.

Ok fair enough. But if I have read the ship tree right, Kita comes at level 52. That already makes it the highest level CL by something like 9 levels, and now we're talking about adding another one at level 61 or higher? Perhaps its cuz I haven't played kita but I don't see the point. By that point you're talking going up against BC/BB, and I don't see that extra crew will help you much. From a ship tree perspective, I can't really see how you'd add a bunch of high level remodels/classes to everyone's tree either. Just looking at the USN tree, almost every ship they had is on the board already (see the post on adding ships). You could of course, just add crew/gun space to the existing classes, but whats the fun in that? Loses realism/balance just so we can keep playing with the same ships at higher levels.

but tell me why you want more crew on it? just bo 2 torpers and an engy is more then enough... you don't need reps if you are a TW or extra engys, with 1 u can go 52knts... ok if you do aa or anti sub... but still. its still a cl...

Kitakami are already game changing ship in GBs. Anything more might be overkill
Interestingly there are 5 ships under the Kuma class ships namely Kuma, Tama, Kitakami, Oi and Kiso. All had an average of 5100 tons of displacement

Again as someone mentioned, trim your crew.
I can imagine someone running into this problem if he used his yammy BO and kept full sailors on his hei torpers.
Cut sailors from your ss5 torpers until barely above the cap, use a 120 engy, and not your super yammy BO and your kita will be light as day it came out of blitz.
Ideally you only need 4 guys on there, 3 of which can lose a good chunk of rookies.

It's called a Kita btw. I don't think it should have more crew weight BUT I would like to see one change: Another crew slot. Kita can carry only 7 sailors total. Even the previous remodel Kuma and Kuma-kai can carry 8 sailors. This ship is level 52 and has the smallest number of sailor spots. It's one of maybe 2-3 CL classes that has this few sailor space and those are much lower in level. A UK DD has more slots, and most DDs have the same. I think this could be addressed. As a level 52 ship, and because Kuma has 8 slots, it should be increased to at least 8 as well but displacement should stay at or about the same.

no thanks on the torps and crew
trim the crew all ss players had to do it befor the ss5 came and even then people grinded there ss to 120 lvl
as for the torps do u realy want ss torps on your kita and stil have the range of kita torps seems unfair to load a 52 lvl (speed)boat whith lvl 95-98 lvl torps if u realy want those tops then u will have to use the ss torp range and that wil make your kita get to close and dead
a kita is a cl thats in use for long range torpedo attacks so the fuel takes most of the space in the torp and its warhead is smaler thus less damage a sub is for close range attack so it needs less fuel and can have a bigger warhead thus more damage
as for its speed and reload that depends on what crew u use

Lol, if there was a candidate for the most skilless and OP ship in the game , this is it. Good for leveling crew to a point, but at lvl 90+ you should be in another ship getting real skill, not relying on fire-and-forget to amass you random amounts of att. , based on the actions of others, and not your own. Move up, fire all torps, come about, fire all torps, then move back to reload, repeat. Deep, deep, gameplay there. This is like the AA ship for ppl that cant/wont learn2AA. How this ship escaped beta un-nerfed when they raped the Z99 like they did, i will never know, lol. (not hating, I dont mind kita the way they are, but buff them? cmon, now)

no one said anything about SS torps. How can you fit those on a ship? you might want to reread whatever was confusing you here.
