Answer please or your argument is invalid.

Actually you make no sense. This isn't CommieField where every nation have the same ships, and every ships are the same so no one is jealous.

I agree the point of "they have it, so should we" is weak at best, but your way of going about it is just ridiculous and illogic.

Rather than just pointing out any special setup ship in the game, why don't you try to explain why such setup differs?

He asks for consistency between ship classes.

I point out instances where there are certain traits unique to a class or a ship (Hint: Limitations) and point out the fact that different classes are different.

You come and act like you're smart.

Actually, questionning the why isnt dumb. In a quick glance, anyone else might be "why not?". Sure I'd also have liked him to participate a bit to the convo before giving his recc, but meh.

You actually didn't point out limitations. You simply took an affirmation of someone, that might not be totally right, and flew off the handle about it, talking out of the blue about DD launching planes. You actually never said what limitation the removal or not of the SS gun would go against, but I can't say I was much surprised. I've come to expect those leap of logic from you, I'm afraid. (and I doubt I'm the only one).

As far as your last sentence goes : I do not think I am an idiot, and I think I bring valid points, and back them up with facts and examples. I'm open to being proved wrong by anyone who also brings valid points and examples, or simply a logical trail of tought about it.

Does it mean I think I'm smarter? Not necessarely. I do however have confidence in my capacity to analyze a situation (something called "judgement"), and my good knowledge of the game and its balance mechanics that the opinions, ideas and points I raise are at least relevant and raise importants facts or considerations.

You often bother arguing about something you think you aren't at least partially right about? (In fact, nvm don't answer that one)

While I am a naturally sarcastic guy, and not above using irony to point out a ridiculous suggestion or situation, the mild trolling I sometime unleash on ranting individuals, you'd do well to notice I'm never being impolite to the people who doesn't share my point of view, but do bring points to the discussion about why they think that way.

Something, I'm afraid, you cannot boast of.

So the question is, who really thinks he is smarter than he is? The guy who questions a suggestion, or brings in points about the balance mechanic of the game, or the one thinks so highly of his opinions he won't even bother giving it a second tought, or doesn't feel he needs to come up with arguments and examples to support it?

Note in this current topic, how while in the background of thing, we support basically the same point, but how I am actually giving toughts to it, rather than just thinking I can push it away cuz "I'm so awesome my opinion should be considered as the universal truth, no questions asked".
