I do see your point Lj and perhaps a thought for later, but rather not change the starting premise right at the beginning.

Thanks, Vick. This news is a huge step towards what Fleet Leaders have been wanting for years. However, I am also in agreement that any account associated with hacking/cheating the NF system should be known to Fleet Leaders regardless if they were un-perma banned. Personally, I have the philosophy that once a cheat always a cheat and these account owners can not be trusted after dishonesty has been proven. I understand it is too much to ask our community to be honest in their NF gaming but we should be able to be pro-active against their previous actions and guard ourselves against possible future actions.

Again, thanks vick.

cant you make it so the people dont know the persons IGN? just show them any evidence agianst the person and then vote without anyone knowing who they are voting on w/e maybe its a stupid idea but if someone made fleet leaders mad then hes not exactly gonna get a fair trial is he?

Furiguri I understand your point, but part of introducing this is enhanced deterrence against offences and to try and improve how we all interact with each other in-game. If someone is a genuine pain, winds up other players, is constantly offensive to the point where they aggravate their peers then why should that be hidden in the peer review appeals process?

Also, because it is a comment and vote system for the Fleet Leaders then that should, in the main, generate a level of overall balance on a decision as opposed to any individual perceptions of the person overpowering the decision. Finally, if the account is in appeal then it has committed a serious offence or a string of offences to be in that position, in which case the worst thing that happens is it remains suspended to try a later appeal perhaps - after the person has shown they can behave in the community maybe?

The point really is, don't commit the offence(s) in the first place!

lol

I guess from now on, I can't bomb the fleet leaders in Kaiser.

Basically because they would have the childish notion of banning me.

Great.

This has nothing to do with getting banned.
