NC will not work good with AW config... why?
well firs of all u have 16 Mk 6 45º... bad angle to rush...
if u are willing to go with 2 triple 16MK3 SoDak 40º you are going to loose a little bit of range and firepower, besides the US Armor weight will leave u at mid 30's OH speed (if talking about capped engys for NC) and after all US Armor cant bounce the same way than UK armor does... its just the cold facts
CA New Orleans is the only US ship that can be AW, but only for blitz, as it can only bounce 8' shells... in GB this config will let u killed everytime with 0 damage... if u SW you can go almost at 50knots OH with at lvl crew, and with capped gunners i have maked several 30k damage games and sinked a LOT of BBs and CVs for a CA, again, AW is a waste of a great ship in US Line, even if u can actually make it work as AW
