I don't see the problem just as greed, I think they feel more that they have been mislead. I was excited for the chance to finally get an event ship; even with the lousy drop rate, I think that its still obtainable.

For EBB 1 (event ship) you need 6 hours per day for 36 days in a row, not 5 hours. If you are AFK at the end of battle and don't join another room immediately, you will need longer.

SDE says they dont want ppl to abuse the event

if the coin event stays like this they force ppl to abuse the coin event cus i can´t see a possibilty if you have a RL (job, wife, kids, other intrests) than you have no chance at all to recieve 100+ coins the only possibilty would be sharing (not allowed) or cheating (also forrbidden fair enough :D ) in other ways...

I know there stands "a chance of winning a coin" but at the moment it seems to me the chance is like 10-20% and thats a slap in the face....

you want to do something against abusing than pls stop makeing events like this as a honest player like me the motivation is gone just at the beginning of the event because there is no decent chance to get an serious amount of coins :/ so if there is no change of the percentage i will stop and just use the exp event the rest is useless. There will only be a small pro gamer core who have the time or ppl which abuse the game for winning something :( sad but true.... think about it its christmas time open your hearts SDE

Christmas is an fest where you should be with family and friend have joy fun with presents all this stuff :) and not hanging around 24/7 in Game only to get some coins and as you can see some ppl take the game very serious and they are worried now i can understand them...

So pls do some changes SDE make up your mind open your heart show goodwill at christmas time :)

I'm not so sure about that. It seems that some are getting drops at a faster rate. With these low numbers, its are to make predictions like that. After all, if we are talking 2 coins instead of one then your time would be wrong by 50%. So instead of 6 hours its 3 hours.

A rate of two coins per day is roughly what you need for EBB and I see that as obtainable. Maybe a little slower than I'd like, but still obtainable.

SDE is upping the drop rate. Guess they listened to this thread. Thanks.

What do you mean 2 coins instead of 1..?
My probabilities are on average.
It takes into account the assumed 20% coin gain rate. But it has to be a win. To get a win, we assume 50% chance. If you factor 50% chance into 20% chance it comes out to 1 in 10 games you get a coin (winning 5 of those games only). That means that, every game you play you have a 10% chance to get a coin on average..
To get 100% chance to get a coin you play 10 games (all on average).
To play 10 games you need 200 minutes on average, or 3.33 hours.. for 1 coin.
So, playing for 5 hours per day for example would give you, on average, 1.5 coins per day.
1.5 coins x 36 days = 54 coins total after all that work. What can you get with 54 coins? a PCL.

So for 180 hours of your time, probably about 40 hours of that is waiting after you're dead in the room for the chance of coin, you could gain a PCL. for 40 hours of drudgery I would rather pay 3$ for a PCL and get it over with. In 40 hours of work I would make 1000$.

And still no coin

I lost 4 games MAX and won the rest,
But still not Coins, Not even one

This issue has been addressed by GMs and an announcement has been made.
