  • Why do you personally not come to test sessions?

Hey everyone. Just an open question.

We need people to help with battletesting and give their opinions on them during
test sessions. Obviously, if you couldn't make this weekends due to a one off event,
that isn't the point of the thread, its for those that don't attend whatsoever.

Is it because you would rather gain exp on the main server? (A valid point, if that is
your opinion, please tell us that).

Is it due to lack of rewards?

Is it due to the account system there, and having to class all the crew?

Is it due to technical issues?

Or, are you just not interested (again, a valid point)?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On top of that, not many people partake in the test server discussion board. What
are the reasons for that?

I have done my job already. Solo testing and reporting bugg and stuff. I don't like to
overspend my time.

Plus, I don't even want to try fixing a rendez-vous, as I know 80% of the time, it doesn't
hold. From personnal experience.

For a couple reasons:
1) exp on the main server
2) [correct me if i'm wrong] I read a while back that if you were to join the test server,
all custom sprites and sounds had to go.
3) not really interested. in a personal question, what does the test server have that the
main won't have without the errors?

Because forever how much a tester might want to fix or balance, NF will just ignore it
and come out with something stupid (like monster BB).

Because you stole my teddybear when we were 4 years old!
I'll never forget that scarring day :-(

And also, I wasn't aware that this was possible & I don't have much time on my hands;
if I'd join the test server, I wouldn't be able to get on regular NF

There has been a grand total of 3 people that showed for my 3 testing sessions. Does
that give me the right to buff any nation I want to OP like never before? :D

On a serious note, the lack of any interest will mean that the testing server will be shut
down if it isn't used.

**Is it because you would rather gain exp on the main server? (A valid point, if that is

Only to a point, the only things I'm levelling is lv116 KM gunners and an engy to replace
some weaker crew.

**Is it due to lack of rewards?**

Not really, the crews I currently have do not need anything, prem will be wasted on me in
a few months and I would not like a navyFIELD crystal. . .

**Is it due to the account system there, and having to class all the crew?**

Would'nt bother me.

**Is it due to technical issues?**

Nope.

**Or, are you just not interested (again, a valid point)?**

Yes and no. Yes because I would like everything to be balanced correctly. .

No because it will take atleast a year to accomplish and as much as I would like to help
do someone else's work, I do not see why I should do a job paid emplyee(s) should be
doing. As well as my interest and enthusiasm being to the point of logging in for 15
minutes and being disappointed at the playerbase and the game itself tbh.

**Plus I've crashed from grinding (much like a sugar crash), so will be a while until I'm
back in full swing me thinks**

It took me a while to write this answer, but i think that in my mind the game is stated
one way and that's how the game is, and its not my duty to change it, i feel my duty as a
player to fully understand it and learn the tricks of the game, not to change it.

Its not that i cant give suggestions, its about i dont think its my duty, or to put it some
way, its gona be too biased to my own beliefs and experiences and not impartial as it
should, so i cant give suggestions that way.

Now that i think it.. yeah well it couldnt hurt to give suggestions... but well, theres also
that *fear* to do a really noob suggestion :P

On the testing seasons... my biological-memory sucks, i forget about everything :D if its
not by my friends phone-calling me for HAs i would forget lol. Maybe it could help to give a
in-game announcement like "Testing stuff starting on the test server, please join us if you
can!", you may get more ppl that way.

Why? Because Navyfield is game...no work... testing is boring (and more boring than
most boring game mode - GBs)...

Maybe people go to NF to have some fun...maybe some people have less care about
game balance (ofcourse they have care but less than to have a fun) but they
welcome any events like Fleet league or fleet tournaments...

Instead testing It will be better / more fun / for me to have fleet league running...
ONF working for months on league but priority is testing...sad for me...one week lost
and nothing new about FL...

I큟 not sure if testing save Navyfield more than fleet league...

Work on more fun for people instead more work for people...

It is from my personal view...

I think its all of those reasons really. There is no great reward for taking time out of
your grind to test. The account system is completely fu**ed up. I've lost count of the
amount of times I've gotten on to accounts and all it has is a 120QV crew because of some
tard.
