What keeps me out of my cv?
I levelled up a new set of fighters from scratch; newly rolled for my new cv crew. They were not much use at T1, they were just too slow; but at least they did *something*. At T2, they could just about hold their own against some T3, using superior numbers to overcome their superior speed, firepower and everything else. 6 fighters, with full experts and a bunch of vets. Now I have T3s, but I often lose 18 T3s to kill 3 T4s (I think... what's the numbering scheme? T1-4 and L?)
As of T4 introduction, all of my fighters have become useless, and my only bomber is borrowed.
My cv is of no use to me or my team. That's what keeps me out of it.
To get me back into my cv?
Do something about those new fighters you put in. They might be balanced against each other, but they're almost immune to all but the heaviest of AA fire and completely invincible to anything just one tier below.
That's not right. T1s had trouble with T2s but could do some damage. T3s were out of the question though. T2s had trouble with T3s, but you could hold your ground with superior numbers.
Now we have T3s vs T4s... And we can't scratch them. Outnumber them 3:1 and your losses are still 6:1
I'll admit I'm not the best CV driver out there, so I sometimes lost a lot of planes to engaging the wrong direction, but before T4s, I could still do something. I could help my team and I could keep the skies under our control. I was fully FW back then; 3 squads of 3 in the air at all times. 18 planes in the air if we needed; and if the situation called, I could get 6 planes in the air in a matter of seconds.
But now, you need to be an expert at NF mechanics just to be able to dent the enemy, and you must sacrifice your fighters and drag them to the enemy to help your team. Forget shooting planes down, all you can do now is lose planes and crew on suicide scouting missions.
I don't know enough about the new planes to tell you how to fix them, but your T4 vs T3 balance is atrocious. Look back at how T1-3 work, and try to figure it out. Please?
