Planesman ASAP.

I can see why planesman is very important.

What are the opinions on the sonarman? :)

For the sonarman, I leveled him ASAP cause I needed him. He's the one who detects other subs and if I'm not mistaken, extends sight for the sub so he is just as important as the planesman.

Partly what Richard means is you could leave the sonarman as a support until you need to put him on
the sub and class him at that time. You'll pretty much get the same performance with extra repair and
restore.

Delay sonar, can provides tons of repair rate and soft defence.

You can get a sonarman with 200SD+ with him, while I wish you good luck with the class on time. Because it will be hardcore possible to get that ammount.


Take this as analogy.

vs

Crap brand quality USB flash drive for 325GB , no warranty


Do you need the extras 5 gb? Or will you go for the kingston that offers some nice feature?

This applied similar to a sonarman. Want to get bit more sonar ability at the cost of repair and decent sonar ability? Or want more sonarman ability, at the cost of crap repair and restore?

Considering my sailor potential is 15, I think it won't hurt so much to level it later. However, when should I level him in order to get some 200 SD boost? I think he has base repair and restore 10 and engine 9.

My reply is very general since I'm not the best person to for numbers.
I suggest you still class the planesman on time. The Sonar could be classed late as we've mentioned.
Finally, repair and restore are added from the planesman and sonar (actually all sailors) but engine is not.
Engine stat ONLY applies to engineer. Doesn't matter what extra engine ability you have on your planesman,
sonar, BO, chef etc, it doesn't add anything so don't worry about that.

so, when it will be the right time to class sonar? 60? 70? im thinking to get a sub crew since ss5 will be out next month :D

get pot13/rep11/res11 for sonar and planes. level them as support sailors to lvl 90 than class them. enjoy your super-duper sonar/planes in action. Youll hit caps easily with 150 vets and 500 SD with those sailors only.
