PLEASE open that kind of room, i promise i will stick to this game if the room emerge.!!!!!!!
MY BB2 is forced to be poor in GB2...not depend on any skill but level.. so so sad..

I NEED THAT KIND OF ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He want's to play in his BB2 without being food in GB2. Can he do that in the Select Mode BB/CA?, yes.

Including CV/DD/FF/CL/SS classes in a mode below lvl80-90 is a good idea, but it isn't his issue right now... neither is shared exp.

Arguing semantics about his request isn't going to change the situation.

Not to repeat myself, but pointing at a game mode plagued with problems and acting like it is a legitimate option doesn't make that the reality.


Edit: I did mean to mention in my earlier post though, that the event should go some ways to helping the situation by raising room type awareness.

This has been argued over time and time again. Every time its failed. The bottom line is that there aren't enough people in the game to support it. It would dilute the number of people in the GBs and make the horrible wait time even worse. Rooms would be failing at 10 minutes and people would be loosing their minds. Don't forget that CVs wouldn't care about the level restrictions nearly as bad as the BBs (especially the BWs). So you'd get the CVs going 8 to every room with no waiting while the BBs sat and rotted.

The thing that I really didn't like about your post was that you missed about 95% of what I said. My point was that I ENJOYED the grind and ENJOYED playing each ship along the way. I still go back to them. After all, this is a game and games are supposed to be for fun. If you think this is going to succeed, then by all means, go start a select mode and see what you get. I hate to disappoint, but most of the players you see in a GB in less than a BB5 are on their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th line and they don't care much to downgrade to lessor competition.

By the way, I'm quite capable of sinking BB5s with my BB2 and I don't consider myself very good with manual. I would dare say that if you made these special rooms not only would you kill the number of games that go on in a night (making leveling harder) you'd also weaken the skill base of players. They'd play in a watered down environment. Then they'd get to L90 and guess what? Now they have a bigger ship and are still food for the veterans, because its not the ship that matters, its whether or not the operator can use it. After all, as has just been pointed out, you can sink a BB5 with a BB2 (they do have 16" guns) so the problem will be the same again.

I also don't like your page long rant calling people old guard and trolls. Heck, I've only been playing since Febuary and I missed three months. Big deal. Stop the pity party. If you can't beat them now, then you'll just end up giving them more XP off a bigger ship.

Yeah. Again, I already addressed this in my first post. What did I tell you? Every objection we will see here is going to be some variation of those tired old objections I listed.

Let me quote again for emphasis this point:

If you are counting on the shared XP to level, then you really have failed. So here you are talking about people having skill and playing the game and you are what, L 95 and worried about shared XP? Perhaps the really problem is that you just aren't a very good player. There's nothing wrong with that, but we can't go changing the whole game because then someone else would just be the less skilled player. If you are L95 and you are upset over being food then there is seriously something wrong.

You be food, and get shared xp. Symbiotic, though many many 'elite' players still call "leech" as they farm them.

At the end of they day, every other game or sport has a tiered system. Chess? Ranking system. Any FPS? Ranked matchmaking. It's to make the game more fun by streamlining the process, and matching a range of players similar skill levels OR similar vehicle levels (in games with vehicles.) Yeah , you can have a badly designed progression, but it's more fun with a smoother curve. Like a ladder with more than 2 rungs to make it 3 stories.
And in case anyone hasnt noticed, many many people have voted on this by leaving forever. Most people leave between 60-65, and I have a hard time believing that they are all "pussies". They just want a thing called "fun" out of a game. Those who wanted a stiffer challenge could stll go play with the big dogs. Thoe that didnt, could play it out in the lower rooms, then finally HAVE to go to the highr rooms, via lvl cap. So they wind up there anyway. But they wind up there. Not in some other game, having fun.

My only point was that, it's a good idea that will never be implemented for the reasons I stated, so they might as well lock this one.

Everything is balanced so that even if a level 50 player jumped onto a level 1 player he should technically be able to do pretty similarly to what he normally would do.

I agree, it needs to have the same amount of credits and xp as rewards as the Great battle and great battle 2 rooms

And fail is because too many high tier players don't want to lose their easy kills and hate lower tier players having fun
