i posted this last night :
http://fm.en.kupaisky.com/Community/Forum/View.aspx?num=5631&searchtype=0&pagecount=0&searchvalue=&sort=5&category=C02&page1=1

and a mod locked it today DUE TO SINDHER TROLLING and ruining the thread ..
he should be forum-banned IMHO ... totally disrespectful (but thats par for him i guess)

this is a day to remeber those who died in a SUPRISE ATTACK when we WERE NOT AT WAR ...
they were NOT wartime soldiers that died .. they were sunday sailors on skeleton crew stand down
this is why its known as a day of infamy and an unethical dirty attack ..... rather than a 'legitmate' battle toll ..

today is for us to PAUSE and REMEMBER with RESPECT those who died there ...
we do not CELEBRATE the start of the japanese war with battles galore or drops ...

nor is it proper to troll these type of memorial threads ... thats stooping really low even for sindher

+1 Not sure why your thread was locked; you posted nothing wrong in the topic and it was in the right location. Bad call on the part of the mods. Punish the act of the person who did wrong, not the innocents.

I re-opened it. Just going to keep an eye on it to make sure more political trolling doesn't make it's way back in.

I don't get this Canada remark? Like we did our equal part in WWII also. September 10, 1939, the Parliament of Canada declared war on Germany. Canadian soldiers, airmen and sailors took part in every major theater of war(excluding the Russian). Our pilots took part in the battle of Britian, our ships fought in the Atlantic and Pacific. We landed on the beaches of Normandy, Jumped into the Netherlands during Operation Market Garden. Battled through Italy, in northern Africa, and crossed the River Rhine.

Pearl Harbor was indeed a dark day for the US, many lives lost one of the tragedies of the war. It's part of world history yes, but its a bigger part of American history. I don't take anything away from it, many brave US service men and women lost their lives. Remember the day its important.
I'm sorry i meant no disrespect on any veteran but before the us entrance into the war japan and germany was winning the war and would have won

Germany already lost the war with the invasion of the Soviet Union. Japan wasn't fighting anywhere(okay, China) before Pearl Harbor(you know since everything was coordinated to begin with the same time frame.)

Please continue to make the people of the United States look bad with your misinformation though.

Not sure as to why my reply was deleted, no PMs were sent. I see no offence in declaring the Attack on Pearl Harbor an important naval battle.

Because it wasn't a naval battle, it was an air raid. Calling it a naval battle would be like calling B-17 raids on Germany's industry a "land battle". Just because the targets were ships doesn't make it a naval battle.

I'm sorry but that is wrong. We (Germany) lost the war because we attacked the Soviet Union who then steamrolled us. It was them who defeated most of our land forces. Your president seemed to agree, because he gave the biggest occupation zone to the Soviet Union.
