Could someone explain to me why it would take me 19 times to restart the game after I crashed out while entering a room? 19 times the game doesn't load and 19 times it forces me to download a 43KB file.

I have played this game religiously for years and I've spent entirely too much money on this game. I'm forced to ask, what are you people doing with the money? Burning it? I can play half a dozen computer games for hours upon hours and never have a problem. With NavyField, I can't spend an hour in-game without crashing out multiple times.

I would love to hear Vick give us an update on his crashing survey that he had a couple weeks ago. Is anyone working on game stability or was that just to make everybody happy that people were listening to our problems?

Vick, do you have any information or updates regarding whether the Devs and SDE are working on making Navyfield compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7 instead of having to run NF in Windows XP Compatibility mode?

As answered many times previously. It was checked out and it is not the issue you think it is. I take it you have also had the same response from your reporting to the 'authorities'?

ahhh.... your ignorance shows.

I didn't report it. mfischer did.

I just wanted an explanation as to what was happening and never got it.
wow.... I was going to post the response from the ticket I submitted.... but it is GONE... deleted.....not by me.....

the response said they were still working on it..... but now it has been solved long ago and answered many times.... according to you. If it was solved then why would no one give a real answer saying it was solved....

So what specifically was incorrect in his analysis of the situation ? Why did it take months to get a response from the Devs

The servers are hosted in the USA by CD Networks who are using a incorrect IP
address for the servers. ( they are using Korean APNIC Addresses)
This is currently under investigation by the relevamt NIC centres.
I would expect that when CD Networks are finally told by the NIC centers to remove
the poisoned routes and put the correct ip addresses on the servers the issue will
go away.

This issue is logged via a support ticket with soubleGM (march 2011) and as yet I
have had no followup response from any of the GM's or anyone else at SDEnternet.

I thought you were one and the same, but must admit I had not run an IP check, so apologies. Yes that is the issue that was raised, examined and answered.

I play on a PC with a core 2 duo @ 2.2 GhZ, 4 gigs of ram, windows XP SP2 32-bit, Nvidia 9800GT and have never even had the data corruption problem but i had that on my laptop but the patch worked perfect, but have never crashed on my main PC, i have a pretty good internet connection so maybe it has to do with your system...

It takes a MAX of 2 times to start the game for me. I never have to restart. Crashes are only from my wireless internet disconnecting on me. Sure, you may have problems, but if it's SDE's fault, it's not affecting everyone.

Oh and Windows XP SP3
Intel duo @ 2.53 GHz
2 G Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (I think)

this is strange...lately NF has run without much crashing at all...like once a day maybe o.O not really sure what they changed but I used to crash maybe once every hour or two. Now it MAYBE happens once a day (and yes I alt+tab and everything)...

EDIT: And I'm running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Edition, the only significantly different things I've done now versus before is I went to F10 and turned off turret turning sound and I am no longer running vent and NF-fixer.

They should move the game base outside of Korea... This is NF north America... Put the servers were majority of people should roughly be. Will decrease lag significantly.
