Could someone explain to me why it would take me 19 times to restart the game after I crashed out while entering a room? 19 times the game doesn't load and 19 times it forces me to download a 43KB file.

I have played this game religiously for years and I've spent entirely too much money on this game. I'm forced to ask, what are you people doing with the money? Burning it? I can play half a dozen computer games for hours upon hours and never have a problem. With NavyField, I can't spend an hour in-game without crashing out multiple times.

I would love to hear Vick give us an update on his crashing survey that he had a couple weeks ago. Is anyone working on game stability or was that just to make everybody happy that people were listening to our problems?

I can't even use the NF Fixer's Ctrl+End feature to kill NF when I freeze crash which makes it take longer to reload the game. Ridiculous

i crash roughly 5-6 times every single time i try to run the game, once the game is running it will go for about an hour before crashing again then i have to repeat the process to get in,,

also to go along with all those problems i also lag like hell in game too.. screen freeezes and lock ups delayed actions from pressing keys or trying to turn the ship.

when i went to the support forums with this all they told me was they cant fix it and to do so would require them to completely rewrite the code of the game.. LOL

now i did try to post the entire response from the old forums but the mods in here just deleted the post and issued me a warning for obviously talking about something incredibly sensative..

so no vik!!! you have not provided an answer or a solution or date of information due for possible attempts at sollusions to these major major problems.

telling us they are being worked on or looked into are not solutions fix's or answers. its basically telling us that you have no communication between your selves and sde and there fore nothing is being done and you believe they would act in the best interest of their gamers..

we dont need new content, we need fix's for the old and current content thats oh so brocken. how about we start with game stability first and these crashes, then it would be incredibly good of them to sort out there hosting and fix these lag problems, then maybe move onto fixing ingame issues such as balance problems among ship classes. and guns.

lets face it none of this is being looked at and if it is its not being looked at fast enough.

so yea we have all heared about the cv update which is due soon, but what exactly is that going to bring to the table, what fixs are being implemented where are the update notes of the fixs ????

these are the things that need to be done, sde owe it to their loyal gaming community.

i find it frankly insulting that none of the plea's from players are being answered, they pay their money and keep logging in and keep paying there money and what do they get in return ??? ignored! i was certainly ignored thats after i was fobbed off by the support guys.

i even asked nice and politely for a transfer to the eu servers which was completely shot down and i had legitamate reasons too.. such as i cant play nf the lag is far to intense and my game crashes like every 30 minutes some times sooner. i even made them aware i dont get such issues on the eu servers.

and what happened lol !!! well i was just ignored heard nothing else about it.

they take ya money and then well nothing.

so yea not impressed with the conduct myself, not much customer service at all.

and its so so easy to fix. all they need to do is actively work on the problems the community are bringing to light and simply keep people apraised of the progress and whats in the works, just like every single other online game in the world does. ive never seen such lack in communication between the developers and their gamers before.

and no forum mods responding to our threads are not what the community is looking for. you mods can not definatively answer the questions of the players in reguards to if issues are being worked on or solved or fixed because you guys dont really know either.

Part of the problem is hacking done by a few players. This makes rooms unstable.

On Windows XP , NF runs fine it's only for newer operations systems,

Hi all,

As i see many people are finding this verry frustrated, as do i sins 2006 when vista came out i never could play 20 games without a crash our freez, after long research i did know it was Navyfield itself and not my systems, And i think vick11 survey did answer that question also, However as i don't really now wich lanquage this game as been written i don't know if they could fix it our not, but as far as i know this problem exist from the year 2006 and up.

But we must be honesly, SDE does know this problem for many years now and there is a reason why they diden't fix it, perhaps it's much work our something.
I play since beta Navyfield and i never sa a stability patch at all:(

Well i hope to get some information vick, and good work so far with the crash survey.

Masterzopf - the servers for NFNA are in Seattle USA, not Korea.

The information provided in the survey is being used by the Devs who are currently prioritising stability issues for Vista and Win 7 over the addition of any new content for this version of Navyfield. The information provided in concert with some early attempts at a Win 7 engine are informing the development process, but it is not going to be a massively quick fix. This is also why there have not been very many content patches recently, although testing changes have continued to support MM's workstrands.

There is always a fine balance to be had between a lack of new content that attracts adverse comment and the laborious art of refining the engine to work with the many, many variations of Windows and the settings within it that can be tailored very differently from system to system; not an excuse but a factual observation and certainly a challenge for the Developers. The survey certainly helped push the priorities towards more stability work for now and that is progressing. The opposite side of that coin, as mentioned, is a slow down in the appearance of new content.

Changing to another server company will not alleviate the problems because the real heart of the problems rest with the game's coding......get better game coders or have the current coders fix the game's coding and alot of the games instability will be virtually rectified.

19 times GT? It sounds like you just had to end the programme via the task manager.
