What playstyle is that? The playstyle to compete against enemy CVs instead of bombing a single CV to win a game?
90% of players have preferred GB1 style gameplay over GB2, CV and BB alike simply because the reliance on a flagship is not a good idea for this game. Especially when said flagship sits still at spawn.

I'll help you come to a realization about the bulk of the community that plays this game bud:-

They don't care about spacial awareness, or the complexity of sinking / protecting a flagship.

The bulk of this community only care about EXP, the quickest and easiest way to earn said EXP. that's all.. they don't care about what happens to the southern flank if they're at the northern flank, they don't care about the reason they cannot see is because their teams Hosho is being destroyed by the enemies Essex, they don't even care that the sea is blue!

They only care about how to earn quick and easy EXP so they can gain their first / next BB/CV6, end of story..

The only way that attitude can be dealt with is by somehow making every game mode in NF reward players with the SAME amount of EXP. That way more than just GB1 or GB2 (or whatever game mode is implemented next that offers even more EXP) is played.

I've said this needs to happen for atleast 3 years and I've seen other people say the exact same thing only to be completely ignored.. Sad really.

Seriously we need some kind of balance between GB and GB2 as a balance between deathmatch and objective play.

This was said about GB1 when GB2 was released, which fell on deaf ears. If past experience tells me anything, this thread (and threads saying the same thing) will be ignored for atleast a year.
