  • Why don't you play GB2 normally?

GB2 is a lot of fun, requires less players than GB1 and overall gives more exp...

Seriously we need some kind of balance between GB and GB2 as a balance between deathmatch and objective play.

Actually, it's a valid comment made about a nerd rager who refuses to read past them and realize that he is being retarded...read the REST of clemo's post before commenting with further "good" responses (remember your Edit 2: *Hint* to understand why I quoted the word "good")

Sorry but that is just a retarded example. that's like saying if your BB line pays no attention to an enemy BB cruising through their line then the objective can be destroyed. I'll ask again with a question that might clear your ears: CAN A PERSON BECOME INVISIBLE DUE TO GAME MECHANICS NOT INATTENTIVENESS LIKE A SUBMARINE PASSING THROUGH THE BATTLESHIP LINE IN SAID FPS?

And you have measures designed specifically to counter said invisibleness. If you're too stupid to use them then it's not the game's fault.

But if your too ''WAAAAAHH! I WANT MY GAME MODE BACK WAAHHH!!''. Then congrats on failing on having a constructive discussion.

I understand the exp issue but from what I've heard noone would play it even if it did give the same exp as GB1

His post is made out of cop outs that happen once every twenty games and that don't contribute to solving the real issue.

Okay, think of it this way:

Say both GB1 and GB2 gave the same EXP. Would you rather gain 50k exp every 15-20 minutes (GB1) or 50k exp every 25-30 minutes (GB2)?

How bout this:

Would you rather play a game mode where a win/loss is due to superior skill/crews/players, or would you rather play a game mode where a win/loss is due to one player being inactive/unable to respond to teammates help/doesn't care about winning or losing or because a sub can penetrate the front line and sink the flagship or a BW CV can border hump his bombers and sink the flagship?

That is not even a valid point now that GB2 requires less players

Chances are, if you had a fail flagship who afked then you would lose in a GB1 as well.
Btw hedgehogs are there for a reason. How about you play better?

If GB2 were balanced to be fair without all the bullshit and gave the same exp the same people would all go back to GB1 because its easier to play

This will be my final post on this topic since its pretty much obvious you don't want to listen unless it is people agreeing that GB2 should be played again since all your doing is flaming people that don't side with you.

1. Those measures include FFs, DDs and CLs with a sonarman. The bulk of players are by far out of those ships and in SSs, BBs and CVs. Why should they drop down to combat subs and nerf their own EXP so you can play GB2? Would you drop down into said ships for more than a handful of games? I doubt it.

2. No one would play GB2 because of the exact reason you gave above: GB1 is easier.. and as I've said easier EXP is all people care about in this game.

3. These 'cop outs' actually happen a lot more frequent than 1 in 20 games, hence why there were tonnes of people complaining about GB2, the revamp of GB1 and the reason you are the only person complaining about the lack of GB2.

In my opinion GB2 would only ever be considered by more players if the idea of the flagship was removed and either two harbours at either end were introduced which required destroying (taking much more effort than one bomberwhore wave) OR implementing a section of territory that needs to be captured (like in CTFs). Read what everyone has said, they are bored, annoyed and frustrated with relying on quite frankly a retard as a flagship, implementing either opposing harbours or territory that needs to be captured would make GB2 more interesting to the community and make it played more.

Flame away if you wish I don't really care, I have better things to do with my time than have a flame war with a stranger over the internet.

As far as I know every ship can use hedgehogs and you'd need to be an idiot to miss a sub diving

Then an objective gametype gets reduced to kill a team first.

That sounds like you have no ground to stand on to me.
