  • Issue over KM Range Nerf... (and other issues?)

We all know KM has had it's range (possibly) nerfed from what it used to be. There
are those who think KM's range has been nerfed too much, and there are those that
think it's fine how it is. But all KM really seems to have going for it IS its range, and
maybe its speed (or atleast it used to have speed; i cant personally say anything
about the speed, since i havent really payed much attention to the speed compared
to other nations.)

So it's my suggestion for KM's range to be bumbed up a bit, becuase KM does
have the worst shell damage and spread, and all it has is its range. EDIT: IM more
towards other edits listed below, over the range, and either one of the fixes can
solve the possible issues.

BUT I CANNOT fully stand behind this, since I only have an H39 and have had the
H44 rental. But in the time i had the H44 rental, i noticed the range wasnt as good...
you should be able to out range a L2, monthy, or SY and not have them be able to
be in range with just a small movement up, OR barely moving at all.

SO, please give reasons and examples for WHY or WHY NOT KM's range is too
nerfed, and if you think KM's range needs to be bumped up a bit, reccomend it.

*side note: since i can't fully argue this point, there is no reason to flame, say
anything negative, or anything like that to me. Just give your reasons and examples
for or against the KM range nerf, and (if needed) argue your point's amongst the
others.*
*another side note: i have been more swaded to the turnning force, shell
damage/ shell damage inconsistancies being fixed, or speed being adjusted. If any
of those are adjusted, the range shouldn't be an issue. I will just keep the origional
idea for others.*

EDIT:
From what i have read, it seems to be a 50/50 split over the range issue compared
to the other nations. Some have quoted the skill needed to run KM, which is a valid
point. Km is harder to suceed in, and that could be the part of the issue. While
others have quoted how when facing another BB5 in an H44, they can be hit easily.
Which is another good point, if KM is supposed to have the best range, why doesn't
the H44 match up with that standard?

*The topic of shell damage has come up, which can be possibly
bumped up, or atleast discussed.

*The Topic of ship turnning force come up aswell, this can be discussed and possibly
changed aswell.

*The idea of increasing speed instead has been tossed arround aswell.

Range issue has been well covered. Try moving on to the other issues... like the
inconsistancies in the shell damage, turnning force, and possibly other issues?

haha~ maybe let's try Paris gun (lvl 71?) with 11" second set N~ (maybe I should indicate that
you should use APs and LHE -v-)
I want to know the difference, too~
you two are in bissy server, maybe I can join the test, too.

anyway, I care more on BB5s~
I remember Rich u had tested the ranges and hang times of the BB5s' guns, didn't you?

I do believe what ONF (look it up) has done for this game over their countless combined
years of testing and balancing on this game. If there is an authority on this sort of
thing, it would be them. So yes; I do believe what they have to say. I also have, or have
played, all of the BB5's and know the ranges quite well. Fact: the H44 has a range
advantage over the other BB5's.

You keep saying this, but refuse to post your results. If you have it, post it. It's not
that hard. If you can't do that, then I can prove that everyone in the state of Colorado
eats humans on Wednesdays, but don't have proof; you'll just have to trust me on that.
Evidence goes a long ways in an argument like this, and everyone disagreeing with you has
it. Funny that you don't....

I'm pretty sure you're trolling at this point, but keep beating that drum kid. Someone
like this thread too, since we're talking to a wall.

He's probably using the 11''L Panzerschiffe gun and not the Scharnhorst N gun.

the MN bb1 shoots farther than KM bb1? not even a c+nt hair lenth more its even less
than that for the bb5's

jhempsrt4, for ur question about if KM has been outranged by the same tier of BB :/
KM BB1 VS MN BB1.

anyway, let's talk about BB5s.
H44 outranges every BB5s~ okay~ by how much then? by hair length? yes, and only that
much in static range. The bonus features are: slow speed, well-know good shells and spread,
and crazy fat size (this one is history though -v-).

H44: low angle gun + range + sling = greater range -v-
and the others: similar range + sling or a little turn = ruin your so-called range easily

H44 is good for me is because:
1.) she has "firepower" as oppose to all other KM ships and angle
2.) ship length + turret c .onfiguration = sling better! can effectively harrase enemy in some case.
3.) angle 37 = good at rushing

the range adv in terms of static range doesn't existed.

The infamous "I cannot play the ship I picked, so it needs a buff" argument- this will
turn out well.

Read and review the evidence you were provided (both in this thread, and the previous
one). If your asking for an H44 buff, go with a hit box reduction. If you want to complain
about coding, then ask for a fix with the shell damage inconsistencies. Don't ask for a
range buff, as the H44 has a range advantage as it is.

It's tough admitting you're wrong, but I'd suggest you do so here. The ONF tests are as
clear as day.

H44 needs a buff , because l2 can hit a h44 easily and 4 shells of a l2 and ye we all know
what happens to the h44 if that happens 2-3 times.

bb4 balance =/= bb5 balance

Can you please give the monty the same range advantage over the l2 as the iowa has over L1.

H44 has a range advantage (it maybe small but it is there and is noticeable), if used
right can make it a monster.
