As far as I am concerned, the KM SS5 is a complete failure.

Slow pig, lousy gun, and horrible reload time.   

I had to scrap it, and rebuid my SS4. NF you have failed.  Whatever your design motive was for this ship, makes no sense.  

Please explain what specific improvements were to made available over the SS4?

from what i know, ss5 has the best air refill speed and best torpedo reload speed.

so if its not more overpowered than the last one, which was the best sub in the game at the time and still probably has a good argument to it, then its crap just because it's not as beastly as the last one, and it never will be. Get over it, actually get some skill on than just pressing space bar.

km ss4 torpedo reload is 33.6 sec
km ss5 torpedo reload is 46.28 sec
thats almost 13 sec more

All I'm seeing here is UltraDog admitting to himself that he is a slow pig who fires too many blanks and can't reload quickly enough.

If its any comfort SN SS5 is also almost downgrade from SS4.

With exactly the same setup as SS4 I got - 3 knots !?

Also have terrible reloadtime etc.

Seems that they nerfed SS5 to much ?

Spent so many hours grinding my subs to SS5 level and I was really hoping I would get a better sub then SS4.

Also dissapointed.

maybe this was what lj and the others were arguing at the test server section >.>

that the "SS line has to be fully rebalanced instead of injecting random crap values"

apparently they DID inject random crap values instead of rebalancing the whole line, thus the result of SS4 being better than SS5

At least you get to carry larger crews with more Vets and Experts, right! Or did they mess that up?

Are you able to carry more torps?
