What is the reason that you get less Xp  when you using higher lvl crew then the ship you use?
I know its coded  that way but why?

To encourage progression up the ship line. If I could get BB5 exp in an AA Moltke every game I would because it would be laughably easy.

You do 100K Xp a battle in a Molke? Possible in a BB5 not in a Molke.

I just want the Xp I would get when using the ship at lvl or maybe slightly less.
If I use a +100 crew in a CL I get allmost no Xp at all.
Its not a big deal I just wonder why they codded it that way.
Also if you get no or less Xp drawbacks when using high lvl crew on a low lvl ship you will see more support ships.

his point is solid : if u get no xp in a ship u will see less people in them.

hints towards asw

and the bloody aa exp is nice we know ..that is why we see alot of them .

kita exp is piss poor now a days that is why a lot less than in the past .

and the sub exp is a joke

it is a solid point that needs to be addressed

He did not anwer my question, I never asked for bb5 xp in a molke.

About encourage procressing to next ship:
Most ships need to have crew thats at least 10 lvls higher then the ship to get a decent peformence out off it. A at lvl BO dont see the shells land and if you do see them land youre lines are still to short.

Your best tool to get an accurate answer would be sending a Support Ticket or asking a Veteran Mod directly.
Through open forum the best you can get are guesses.

I've wanted the removal of the exp penalty for high level sailors on low level ships for a long time.

Why?

The support slot penalty is enough as it is.
