  • Turn yellow sailors into white

How about something like this?
(short version)
All sailor changing to yellow or to white would need a special password you set to change, so you can just keep your guys safe from stealing by turning them from white to yellow. Then, if you want to sell them later on, turn them white by re-entering the pass and sell? This would go well with everyones so far idea.
The not able to dismiss yellow sailor feature would be included in this to prevent anything from happening to them.

(less complicated version)This would  give the ability to turn Yellow saliors into white sailors to make them sellable, and dismissable. And white sailors into yellow sailors to make them secure, this in turn would require a password, a 4 digit (like the HQ pass) or custom pass. (like your pass to log in)  White sailors are still sellable, and dismissable, Yellow sailors would not be either sellable or dismissable, for the reason if someone somehow gets your pass, you will not lose any sailors if they are all put to yellow.
 

OLD:

This odd and annoying feature stops you from tradeing your "noob crew" guys. It should be removed so that all sailors can be sold.
There is no reason I see to keep this feature alive.... All that it does is stop you from trading them.

Here is what i mean, you class a guy, but you want to buy boosted or preimum sailors later.
So, you go to trade room, and you make up a deal to trade your gunners for better gunners, Pilots, etc.
Then you sudden;y notice that you can't do it because they are yellow! This feature has no puropse and  i think it needs to be removed.

Your missunderstanding you could change them all to white, the yellow would be just optional secruity

i realy want the accountant/maintance/Drillmaster/GroundCrew and Machine guns reactivated although some of those i dont remember all these sailors actived but some were

you want to profit from the free starter crews ? ...
because you didn't roll your own white crew and then level those up ? ...



if you want a suggestion in this area ... make ALL crew yellow and UNtradeable ...

part of the game is learning how to roll, level, and manage YOUR sailor crews ...
the crew trader economy destabilizes the game takes away from the purity of play

Errrmmm you do rellise that the starter crews arn't that good, and i have about 4nations roled by myself. Also, you have to roll more to get all the other guys for the carrier or battle ship. I just want them sellable so i can trade up.
They have a trade room and trade tab for a reason you know......

EDIT: Did you even read the first part? They is more to this then makeing Yellow crew white. This is also a back up if someone DOES somehow get ur pass. They go to ur sailors, and they are all yellow, undissmissable, and untradeable. they can't do a thing but play the game heh. And a person who wants to ruin you probally won't give u free exp.....

The SECOND PASSWORD already does that. It prevents selling prem/event ships, dismiss sailors, opening HQ/trade/item tabs, and prevents you from even making trades. Just dont give your second pass out and someone can just play your ships.

now i can think of many more things someone can do to to mess with your crew without a second pass...

reparable things to do to your friends is mess up his guidelines, change guns to D, set AP to main locker, unlead bombs from bombers, rename sailors and ships, taking BB6 for a joyride and trashing it, etc.

but some things do worry me like class my scout or torpmen, drain all my creds, burn all my experts, leave the fleet

and if they do give me free exp, lvling one gunner above the other would bug me

FIRST, nice avatar heh

Secound, HQ has limited spaces, and with this you don't have to buy more, also HQ allows you to get more sailors aka more then 50 (when you put a guy into HQ you will notice ur sailor amout is reduced by 1)that is it's main function.

Also, we could make red saliors who can't do anything on anyship unless they are un done to yellow or white but that may be a lillte over the top....

I think a mod can change the sailor's color to yellow.

last time, I lost a lv70ish IJN DB, the I sent tickets to TNF.
but I was told that they found a exactly same sailor as I discribed in another account, but they can only trace back for 4 month. that means TNF don't know what's in your account more than 4 month ago.
Finally, they gave me a yellow sailor, same as my old one, +11 lv70 unboosted, But I delete it later, because I don't need it and it is very cheap even for a tradeable IJN DB.

So what if it's not an OMGWTFPWNED crew? Not everyone has the time and/or the money to get a +12 or +13 crew. A +11 is good enough for someone with little time/money, and it would be easy to get, plus it's 100% free.

That not nessarily what this is about, say you got a carrier first, but you want aa gunners instead of regular gunners, oh wait you can't sell or trade ur gunners, so you can't get the aa you need...
Same goes with sub, nub gets it, then he relises "hey I need torpmen!!!!!!!!" too bad, he can't buy them.
