  • Turn yellow sailors into white

How about something like this?
(short version)
All sailor changing to yellow or to white would need a special password you set to change, so you can just keep your guys safe from stealing by turning them from white to yellow. Then, if you want to sell them later on, turn them white by re-entering the pass and sell? This would go well with everyones so far idea.
The not able to dismiss yellow sailor feature would be included in this to prevent anything from happening to them.

(less complicated version)This would  give the ability to turn Yellow saliors into white sailors to make them sellable, and dismissable. And white sailors into yellow sailors to make them secure, this in turn would require a password, a 4 digit (like the HQ pass) or custom pass. (like your pass to log in)  White sailors are still sellable, and dismissable, Yellow sailors would not be either sellable or dismissable, for the reason if someone somehow gets your pass, you will not lose any sailors if they are all put to yellow.
 

OLD:

This odd and annoying feature stops you from tradeing your "noob crew" guys. It should be removed so that all sailors can be sold.
There is no reason I see to keep this feature alive.... All that it does is stop you from trading them.

Here is what i mean, you class a guy, but you want to buy boosted or preimum sailors later.
So, you go to trade room, and you make up a deal to trade your gunners for better gunners, Pilots, etc.
Then you sudden;y notice that you can't do it because they are yellow! This feature has no puropse and  i think it needs to be removed.

either the yellow crew IS worth something (which is why you want them tradeable)
or, as you just said here, they are NOT (in which case you can simply DISMISS them)

time i could be using to earn yet more creds while leveling them up to trade status

making an acct (under your TRADE-ABLE suggestion) would mean i actually GET more points (and creds too) ..

1st Plenty of bashing in this comment, hello MODS, isnt there a policy for this?

2nd ranger, u can do what u just said with out making new accounts and such. here is an example of what uuolf is trying to prevent/protect from. I have a friend i just helped him get nebby. I saw that his main 2 gunners are yellow named and same with 1 or 2 of his supports. If he said "what the heck i hate nebby (i doubt he would) I want to trade for a kaiser crew" then he couldnt do that because of this annoying NF feature. Weather some noob is so dead inside that he makes 10+ accounts just for the crews and levels/gets the money so that he can trade the crews and make the tiny 3 mil, i wouldnt care about the exploit that is small compared to other issues but would feel sorry for him/her.

and 3rd, stop bashing uuolf because he has a brain and thinks of ideas, if you want to debate this please leave out the childish "this is fail" comments and speak with dignity.

This or over 100. The issue is that people who started with yellow crew used them as why would you not think they were the best to use not knowing that you would be hampered 1-2 years later when you want to trade them.

As for exploiting, the 11/11 gunners would have value the rest very little IMO (support are 11/10/10 I believe) or at least you could roll something as good in 5 mins of trying not sure about the BO you get that might be good.

The effort of creating a new NF account and email account each time and levelling to lvl12 on an ff1 on that account. and then getting up to 150k to trade. I don't think many people could be bothered as you could just level a sailor to 40 in the same time on your account and sell it for as much as you would make from this exploiting (probably less than 1 mil for a considerable effort).

There is no reason yellow sailors should stay yellow after lvl 60-100.
The whole yellow sailor thing was to counter people who would make a new acc just to sell them.
There is NO logical reason someone should make a new account just to level the AVERAGE sailors there to lvl 60+ for sale.

New acc: 5 min
11/11 gunners, 14/10/10/10/10, maybe supports
all of them fit on the super yamato (9 slots), maybe roll a few +12
BB mission to lvl 12: 6-7 minutes
150 creds: 5 min buy and sell a PCL in shipyard

less than half an hour to make a couple mill is nice.

Yellow noob sailors are a SAFETY feature.

That way it is harder for you to screw yourself.

Just like how you can't end up with 0 credits after a trade.

read it again, you could change it either way, and you would have to know a little about the game before you would do it

Well, yes I said that aswell, but i know many people that let people on their account to lvl, make money, etc.
Also, at lvl 110 or so yellow sailors cap, if you want to sell or trade them, you can't.

Good for you, my point is you can do that or roll em, your choice, rolling gives you a chance to get better sailors.
