  • Turn yellow sailors into white

How about something like this?
(short version)
All sailor changing to yellow or to white would need a special password you set to change, so you can just keep your guys safe from stealing by turning them from white to yellow. Then, if you want to sell them later on, turn them white by re-entering the pass and sell? This would go well with everyones so far idea.
The not able to dismiss yellow sailor feature would be included in this to prevent anything from happening to them.

(less complicated version)This would  give the ability to turn Yellow saliors into white sailors to make them sellable, and dismissable. And white sailors into yellow sailors to make them secure, this in turn would require a password, a 4 digit (like the HQ pass) or custom pass. (like your pass to log in)  White sailors are still sellable, and dismissable, Yellow sailors would not be either sellable or dismissable, for the reason if someone somehow gets your pass, you will not lose any sailors if they are all put to yellow.
 

OLD:

This odd and annoying feature stops you from tradeing your "noob crew" guys. It should be removed so that all sailors can be sold.
There is no reason I see to keep this feature alive.... All that it does is stop you from trading them.

Here is what i mean, you class a guy, but you want to buy boosted or preimum sailors later.
So, you go to trade room, and you make up a deal to trade your gunners for better gunners, Pilots, etc.
Then you sudden;y notice that you can't do it because they are yellow! This feature has no puropse and  i think it needs to be removed.

I know that this suggestion has great intentions, but we all know that it would be abused. You can't just think of the good, you have to think about what else can happen.

Heh, i know most of my ideas are good, but i must not say it right or somthing, because people post things saying it mabey should be this way, but that is the way i was saying! Never seems to get many reccs either. Tell me though, how could this be abused?

i have a lot of yellow named sailors i don t need
and i don t see the point why you can t trade them
I Wihs team nf would do something about it

so i open a new acct .. play neuts to trade status (which is also WHY they added the 150k requirement)
then trade my FREE yellow sailors (11/10/10 supports and 14/10/10/10/10 bo) .... gives me my engineer. repairman, and sonar/planesman (use yellow bo) ... do it TWICE ... gets extra supports and the other bo for sonar/planes .... also gets me two sets of 11/11 gunners ...... then trade them all to my main acct .... nice crew .. no rolling needed ... plus gets me whatever pts and creds i racked up on the new accts ... and i can sell off the leftover unwanted yellow crew for even more creds ...


yeah ... MAKE YELLOW SAILORS TRADEABLE .. we need a new exploita like this ...... NOT .... i vote NO ...

Like I said, not a GREAT crew, but enough for a beginner with no time/money to roll/buy sailors. Think about it. Someone can get infinite crews just by creating many, MANY accounts. It's free, and doesn't take too much time to level a few sailors to level 12.

So far i've seen this is the only type of escuse i've heard, and IT DOSEN'T MAKE SENSE, if you need a new crew, it would take less time to roll one, you do't have to go through the steps of making an account, and you might get better guys, I see what you "trying" to get at, but no, this idea works!!

I can make a new account in less than 5 minutes....takes WAY longer to get a new crew....

I also see where you're trying to get at, and it doesn't make much sense.

dude ... you're tripping over your own logic (or lack thereof) ...

either the yellow crew IS worth something (which is why you want them tradeable)
or, as you just said here, they are NOT (in which case you can simply DISMISS them)

you seem to be trying to have it both ways ... and and IT DOSEN'T MAKE SENSE ...

making an acct (under your TRADE-ABLE suggestion) would mean i actually GET more points (and creds too) ..
they come with the new acct ... this is in addition to the sailors i didn't have to waste time rolling for ... WIN -WIN

how could u create profit off base 11 saliors? would be easier jsut to roll a crap bunch and sell them. also who would take teh time to have it where each account they create is able to trade with the 150k creds and points under level 30.

and yes ik i came late into this thread

but even with what lone ranger said, who the heck would make a new email, new account, level it to 30 or jsut earn allot of credits just to get the crap crew that account has???

if your so worried about people trading them just make it so they cant trade them before like lv 60.
