  • How to give BB1/2 a chance in GB

Make BB spread get less accurate the further it is fired. Instead of having a death zone when one gets in range of a BB, make it so that it gets harder to one shot  as range increases.

So for example, if a BB6 fires at max range, his accuracy will be equal to lower level crew. If he fires at a certain threshold (that is lwoer than max angle) he will be able to have full accuracy.
So a BB1/2 could get in range of BB4/5 and fire with a shotgun salvo while BB4/5 will be able to fire with a perfect salvo at a similar range.
This is more realistic and lends to more tactical games. Rushing will be slightly more effective because as you get closer your spread gets better.

Seriously BB rooms and HA tiles are boring because it turns into a game of "turn into the no man's land slightly and instantly die"  This would allow for more forgiveness in the event that a single mistake is made. It would turn from a boring stalemate into something interesting with rushing being an okay strat.

Rather than troll, I still haven't seen your justifications for such an idea to work.

Still waiting. And many players have no problem performing in BB2-3, at level. This idea is imo another one of the "we want EZ button" category.

Because people leave because the grind is too hard. Making the grind slightly easier and more enjoyable would allow NF to retain more players.

'Many players' usually means veterans of the game who know the weaknesses of other classes. New players that get to BB1/2/3 will not.

Grinding in BB12 is too hard? The Fault is your own.

BB/CA mode for players with BO's under 80 (Yeah i know people can use their OMGPHARMER 120 crews,but 120 BB2 vs 120 BB5? Take your pick)

And theres normal rooms *gasp* where you actually EARN your attack *gasp* and learn some skills *Head Asplodes*

The BB12's that complain about being pharmed so much have zero right to complain,it's their own fault that they're in their predicament.

There may be another alternative, but probably not very well received.

BB6s are quantity limited in GB (I believe it is four or six total).

Have GB limit the number of BB-6/5/4/3/2/1s to some arbitrary number of each level, which would result in more lower level BBs, instead of 20 humongous warlords of range and destruction.

good riddance. keep the ones who actually have a pair and are willing to grind.

honestly dont want to see ones with the life's-to-hard attitude sailing around in a bb456

This is a straight TERRIBLE idea.

For the players we'd gain, why would we want them? Ships who cant Scout/AA or generally play the end game well? That makes no sense. Then whats the next step? Get a bunch of new players in bb6s then nerf it again because now they're getting destroyed by the vets who know they're ships?

I speak as a BB driver who just made it though the Alaska/Guam, New mexico1930 and 1945 and am now in a Sodak and enjoying it to no end. Why do I enjoy it so much because I learned the basics of BB123 play. Can a BB1 or bb2 get destroyed if it ventures into no man's land? definately, but you suck it return to harbor and come back and do it again, BUT I personally feel if this is happening to you a lot you've gotten greedy and are rushing for attack. What you should do is scout, AA if your ship can and just lie in wait I guarantee you will get attack. How can I guarantee that? That's because I did it, you either wait for your bbs to withdraw from rushers and you blast rushers or rusher with your fleet making sure your careful of your position.

Robbing those who have made this grind? Terrible idea.
Lowering the bar to attract people? Terrible idea
Robbing future players of the skills learned? Terrible idea


p.s. The last mmorpg i played that gave in to whining about difficulty and unfairness has since stagnated and from what ive gathered from friends just is boring now, Least hear as difficult as it is you feel accomplished and its never boring.

I think BB1/2 would have a chance in GB if CV6 wouldn't always use interceptors and they could see more. Jajajaja.
Seriously, you are incompetent, refrain from making further suggestion, thank you.

Edit: I still recommend this, because it means nothing and is completely useless.

Here's a novel thought though: Learn to play your boat instead of coming here and posting up whine threads concerning giving BB1/2's "a chance" in GBs when I can consistently do well in GB environments ......with a PCA, not a BB1/2...and if I can do it in a PCA, people can do it in a BB1/2. =.=
