the easiest example is that a BO reset cannot be traded whereas a few vet packs can (trade over a sailor and vet it for your buddy).

I would gladly trade my BO reset for 20$ of naval mines! All it means is I have to raise up a bunch of scouts and sell them!

My BO reset is worthless to me because I run dual BO on my BB and am not worried about CV. Not even gonna bother with a sub too.

If you still have a reset, use it! Use it to get that ship you always wanted, even if you went down the wrong line. Or Switch a BO Op for a CV Op.

But they will never do this... It would cost them money. and could create a black market at the same time. Think of it... someone buys 50$ worth of items... Sells them in game for 200mil total, then sells those credits for a total of $60-100. And if you don't belive people will do it... think again.... they will... just look at runescape. There are bot programs everywhere. Each one of those bots is doing a task to sell the items from it, and sell the in-game money for real money.

But hell... I'm still with you.... I have had 3 extra HQ pages that I can not get rid of... SDE wont do shit about it either... they wont even answer a support ticket/ general question about it.... worse yet... they won't give me any options... or even tell me if anything can be done or not about it... and if there is something... they wont tell me.

I wouldn't mind being able to trade them in for something of lesser value. Or even... Getting an EBB out of it... It's not like the EBB's cost SDE anything besides maybe 2minutes of time to read something, and place the EBB on the account. But I too am one of those poeple who would love to get a BO reset from a drop... other wize, I can do without them.

I have 3 BO resets just on my storage account and over 100 vet packs over all my accounts. Love to trade
those in for expert packs etc but I Still think it would be a terrible business decision + no arguments have been
made to make me think otherwise.
Maybe person A was going to spend $20 for a BO reset, and Person B was going to buy $20 worth of experts.
If you allow item trading, the situation would be great for them as they get the items they desire for "free" but it
would mean SDE lost $40.

What they give you is what sells less. The sell potential of mines is lot less than the xpert or others.

So they give you a BO reset. What are the chance that if you hadn't gotten it, you'd have bought one? Most people don't use them and level multiple BOs. So even tough you got an item that is worth 20$ on the nf-store, the actual loss for SDE is not as high for them with it than with xpert pack, since if I don't get one with the event, chance are you'll buy them since you NEED them. So the % of the xpert pack given that won't be bought probably LOT higher than the % of BO reset given that won't be bought.

Same goes with mines and HH. smoke too to a lesser extent.

Elites are another matter. Chance are you'll buy the rest of the crew if you got a few elotes already, so for each elote given, probably a few a bought to complete the set.

Thats what I meant with SDE is aiming to give something to the player but not shoot itself in the foot sale-wise.
