I know I know, it already had many topics here, but I'll post a possible solution to this inconvenient habit of some players.

Border humping for those unfamiliar, is a means by which bombers move their CVaround the edges of the map, becoming invisible to the friendly fighters and AAbatteries, which is a great advantage since attacked the ships are most vulnerable, with little chance of defense.

My suggestion does not involve a ban of this practice for players only:

1 - A warning to the player that his planes are out of the map, warning that in 10 sec

When you are near the border, you obviously keep checking the borders. Bigger CVs normally have an half of the map to monitor. Thats a lot of borders, not the one near you only. Also, if the planes aint close, or if there is no BB near, the planes are effectively unspotted, and you need to move a plane nearly on the border to see them.

First : you actively monitor the chat when fighting? Many don't, since their focus is on the game.

Second: You call the exact position or just "Omg border humping bombers!" As said, there is a lot of border lenght on the map.

Third: As stated, you have a certain time required for a plane to travel around. They ain't rocket. If they weren't spotted till they are on the BBs, well chance are I hope you got AA ready, planes won't be there in time, and its not the CVs fault.

and do not start with the micro managing thing cuz if this is the case then micro manage will do nothing for you, you will still be caught either when your planes return or even before they hit their target.

I sneak scouts around quite often, and I never use the border to do so. Its doable. The fighters aren't everywhere middle. Thats actually macro-management basic, its micro'ing if you maneuver them to avoid chasing fighter fire. Which is doable also.

The bug fixing and balancing teams aren't at all the same people. So no conflict there.

It cannot be enforced properly, therefore it needs a fix.

Recommended ^.^ I think planes should be treated as smaller red dots or something.
